00:24Resort Layout and Access Rules
00:27The Moon Palace Resort is divided into three main sections, Nizouk, Sunrise, and The Grand.
00:34It's crucial to note that if you stay at The Grand, you will automatically have access to everything at the Nizouk and Sunrise sections of the resort.
00:42However, if you stay at either Nizouk or Sunrise, you will have access to both of these resorts, but not The Grand.
00:49This is why Nizouk and Sunrise are often collectively referred to as simply, Moon Palace.
00:55If you're staying in this Moon Palace side, you can purchase daily passes for The Grand for around $100 per adult or $50 per child per day,
01:04with the main incentive being access to the water park.
01:08If your budget allows, I would just book The Grand so you can access everything without additional costs.

01:25Location and getting around the resort.
01:27The resort is located around 15 to 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
01:32Round-trip shuttles are available for $26 per person, or you can take a taxi, which usually costs between $30 and $50.
01:41If you're hiring a car, free parking is available regardless of the section of the resort you are staying at.
01:48The Moon Palace resort itself is massive.
01:51I recommend using the golf carts provided to travel around since walking between resorts can take a long time.

02:00The all-inclusive package at Moon Palace Cancun includes unlimited access to meals, snacks, and drinks across the resort's numerous restaurants and bars,

02:49The entire Moon Palace resort is a popular wedding and honeymoon destination.
02:54And based on existing reviews, it seems that couples do prefer The Grand for the best experience,
02:59but the Nizuk is also a good option for a smaller or more relaxed event.
03:04In regards to tipping, many say that you don't have to, but it can go a long way to ensure you get the best possible service.
03:12Room Selection
03:13All sections of the resorts have room types to suit just about every traveler type.
03:18However, on the whole, Nizuk tends to offer the most affordable suites, whilst The Grand has the most luxurious accommodations.
03:26The cheapest all-inclusive room at the time of recording, if you take advantage of the discount using the link below,
03:32is the Superior Junior Suite which costs just over $300 per night, and kids and teens are free.
03:39This is all-inclusive, has a view of the golf course, and comes with a balcony.
03:43Higher-end rooms are available, such as the Superior Family Suite with a garden view,
03:49and the Superior Honeymoon Suite with an oceanfront view available at the Nizuk section of the resort.
03:55If ultimate luxury is your preference, then I recommend choosing a room at The Grand.
04:00Check out the Honeymoon Suite to balance cost and luxury, or go for the Grand Presidential Suite for the ultimate experience.
04:09Pools and Waterpark
04:10The Sunrise section has several large pools, including kid-friendly options.
04:15The Nizuk section offers quieter pools for relaxation.
04:19The Grand section provides the most exclusive experience with luxurious pools, including swim-up bars,
04:25and a dedicated waterpark with slides and a lazy river.
04:29As mentioned earlier, if you're staying at The Grand, you'll have full access to all the pools and the waterpark.
04:34However, if you're staying in the Nizuk or Sunrise sections, you can only access the facilities within those two areas,
04:40unless you purchase a day pass for The Grand.
04:43It's important to note the age and height restrictions for the waterpark slides.
04:47For the larger slides, children must be at least 12 years old and 62 inches tall, about 5 feet 2 inches.
04:54For the smaller slides, children need to be at least 10 years old and 47 inches tall, about 3 feet 11 inches.
05:03Children's Activities
05:04The Kids Clubs at Moon Palace Cancun offer a range of activities for children and teens.
05:10At The Grand, the Playroom Kids Club features themed play areas, arcade games, a mini theater, and even a mini racetrack.
05:19The Sunrise and Nizuk sections also have their own Kids Clubs,
05:23offering supervised activities like arts and crafts and interactive games so you can enjoy a break.
05:29For teens, the Wired Lounge at The Grand is equipped with arcade games, gaming consoles, and a fully stocked snack bar.
05:36The Sunrise and Nizuk sections do not have a dedicated teen lounge, but they can take advantage of the all-inclusive activities.

05:45In addition to some of the activities I've already mentioned, you can also take part in daily fitness classes such as yoga,
05:51Pilates, or water aerobics, or work out in one of the fully equipped gyms available in each section of the resort.
05:58There are also tennis courts and the renowned 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.
06:04You can unwind at one of the many pools with swim-up bars, or indulge in spa treatments at the spa,
06:10which offers massages, facials, and hydrotherapy sessions.
06:14Additionally, the resort's grounds are ideal for leisurely walks, providing beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere.
06:21Evening Entertainment
06:23The nightly entertainment at Moon Palace Cancun varies by section.
06:27The Grand hosts exclusive shows like acrobatic performances and themed musical nights in the Grand Theater.
06:33Sunrise and Nizuk provide nightly live music, including mariachi bands and contemporary acts,

07:45Aside from the Nizuk and Sunrise Access conditions I've already discussed, there are a few other things to consider.
07:52The main one is if you are taking children and planning to travel between the different sections of the resort,
07:58this might be challenging even with the golf carts.
08:01The solution here would be to book rooms closest to the amenities that matter the most to you.
08:07Another thing to keep in mind is the seaweed on the beach.
08:11This is removed often with tractors, but if it becomes an issue for you, then check out Beach Palace in the Hotel Zone.
08:18You are given free access if you are staying at The Grand.
08:21Previous visitors also complained about the annoying sales pitches for memberships, excursions, and luxury items.
08:27You can just say no and enjoy the rest of your stay with no obligation.
08:31People also recommend that you don't purchase the resort credits since there are too many restrictions placed on their use.
08:37Also, this is not an adults-only resort, so whilst they do have an adults-only pool and restaurant,
08:43you do need to be prepared to share many of the amenities with families.
