00:00Okay, so let's get into the NFL Preview for the week.
00:12I do not have my notes for how we did last week.
00:14I do not believe it was very well, but we will power on through.
00:21So here we go.
00:22It is...
00:23I guess I should write these down somewhere here.
00:25I was just using my notebook as a mic stand.
00:29It is early morning football over in England, Tottenham Stadium, I believe, as the New York
00:35Jets take on Minnesota Vikings.
00:38The Vikings are two and a half point favorites with a total at 40 and a half.
00:44I have said the biggest...
00:50One of the big rules I have is let's avoid the London games.
00:55But holy hell are they tempting me.
00:57Because I just, I don't know how you can watch what the Jets have done in the first
01:02few weeks and say, oh no, this team is only three points worse than the Minnesota Vikings.
01:08They got this.
01:09Everything's going to be fine.
01:10Totally, totally not an issue at all.
01:11Don't even need to worry about it.
01:13Vikings have, or the Jets have got this one.
01:15I just, I don't believe that.
01:16I think the Vikings are a better coached football team.
01:19And I don't want to overreact too much, because I think a lot of overreacting happened after
01:23Thursday Night Football with the, when the Jets kicked the shit out of the Patriots.
01:27That was Mayo's first time running a short week like that.
01:32And it was a team that really just didn't look prepared.
01:36And the Jets went in and just whooped them.
01:37Aside from that, the Jets haven't looked all that good.
01:39But you also don't want to overreact to last week when they lost to Denver.
01:42And I explained on Monday how this was a game that was very frustrating because, oh well
01:50it's the elements.
01:51It's like, okay well you have Aaron Rodgers.
01:52He's played in minus a billion.
01:54A bunch.
01:55He's playing Bo Nix.
01:56Who's Bo Nix?
01:58Why is the weather the problem for you guys?
02:00So I don't want to overreact too much to that.
02:02But it seems like everyone is trying really hard to not overreact to the Vikings now.
02:08And I think to see where both teams are at through four weeks, and to suggest that the
02:12Vikings at a neutral site are only two and a half points better than the Jets?
02:16Come on.
02:17So we are going to go Vikings in this spot.
02:20We're going to go Vikings minus two and a half for this one.
02:24For a pick.
02:25And also, again, none of this is gambling advice.
02:28This is just my pick for each one.
02:29Because for every NFL game this year, after week one, we go through and make a pick per
02:34game.
02:35And that's kind of the old gimmick here.
02:38And that's how we do it.
02:39And so that is that.
02:40I don't have lines for player props or anything like that.
02:46But we are going to take a look at a Wilson prop in this.
02:49And as we kind of transition into the fantasy football talk for this game, when you look
02:53at the New York Jets, Garrett Wilson has to get going in this game.
02:59And last week it was, okay, well, Sertan's on him, you kind of still have to start him.
03:02This week, the Vikings have done a good job of taking away number one receivers, but it
03:06has been a bit more of a team effort.
03:08And so I think that Garrett Wilson, this is the one where he needs to be good.
03:12And this is the one where if he's not, you get a little bit concerned about that.
03:17Because it just seems like everything else with Aaron Rodgers, it's kind of clicking
03:20a little bit.
03:21But that one, hmm, you get a little bit worried.
03:23And then they go off Buffalo, which maybe isn't the defense we thought they were.
03:27And then they face the Steelers coming up in week seven.
03:30So there's going to be a little bit more focus here on Garrett Wilson.
03:33This is the one where he needs to get right.
03:35And so because of that, I think deeper leagues, you can go Alan Lazard.
03:38I think you can feel comfortable-ish with that.
03:42That is a bit more of a desperation type of a move.
03:45Breece Hall, I think you still play him.
03:47But I do think that Braylon Allen is certainly worthy of a look as well.
03:52And if you're desperate, Ty Conklin.
03:54You could do worse than him at the tight end spot.
03:57For the Vikings, you're starting your guys, right?
04:00I don't think I would go Sam Darnold this week.
04:03I think I would try to find something else at quarterback.
04:06Aaron Jones, absolutely.
04:09And we saw Addison is an impactful part of this roster as well, so him and Jefferson,
04:13I think you can roll with that.
04:15Also, just a speculative ad, I think you can go out and look for a TJ Hawkinson now
04:21for the Vikings.
04:22I think we are getting to a point where it sounds like it might actually be a little
04:26bit close as I go through.
04:29Also, I said on the show the other day, oh hey, the Vampire League, I'm feeling good,
04:35feeling good.
04:36Gino had a better than expected day yesterday.
04:38And I didn't.
04:40Did not break through in the way that I would hope in a 36-30 game on Thursday Night Football.
04:47So we're a little bit behind in that one.
04:49But I do think that TJ Hawkinson is an interesting speculative ad for some teams now as the tight
04:56end spot has been just an abject disaster this season.
05:01And this is, you know, oh Mike Evans, hey there you go.
05:07But the tight end spot has absolutely been just a profound disaster.
05:12And I think TJ Hawkinson, A, is talented, and B, is part of a pretty good offense and
05:19a pretty good situation.
05:20So I do think that you can look at that and feel alright about kind of how things are
05:26going when he comes back anyway.
05:30And yeah, no kidding, Toxic, 20 points, oh yeah no that's all, that's all Mike Evans.
05:35Yeah, a couple receiving touchdowns, five receptions for 62 yards.
05:38Yeah no, that'll do it.
05:39A good start against the silver bullet that is Eric this week.
05:43So that one should be an intense matchup.
05:46But Mike Evans, helping you out there.
05:48Alright, let's move on.
05:49Dolphins taking on the New England Patriots.
05:51Patriots are favored by a point.
05:54Holy crap.
05:55The total in this game is 36 and a half.
05:58Alright, I don't think there's a whole lot to analyze in this game.
06:00The Patriots suck.
06:01The Dolphins are quite bad.
06:02I don't know if I can get to a point where I would have the Dolphins below New England.
06:07I get this game is at Foxborough, and I get it has been dreadful for Miami so far.
06:15But they just, like, they have too many players to be worse than New England, don't they?
06:19I guess they could just lose to Tennessee, but maybe Tennessee's better than we thought
06:22they were going to be, right?
06:23Or maybe not.
06:24I think Tennessee's better than their record would indicate.
06:26Anyway, let's just say it that way.
06:28So, I, the call in this game is Miami and New England under 36 and a half.
06:35No way do I think any points are being scored in this game.
06:39At all.
06:40From a fantasy standpoint, boy, you don't want to use anyone.
06:43For New England, you gotta keep rolling with Ramontre.
06:46You gotta hope that at some point, he got, like, just what are the chances he fumbles
06:50every game?
06:51You know?
06:52At some point that's going to stop, right?
06:53But he's a talented running back.
06:54I think you go with him.
06:56But I do also, you do keep an eye with Antonio Gibson.
06:59In deep, deep, deep leagues, I think he might have a bit of value there.
07:03But aside from that, like, I don't think you're starting anyone.
07:05And on the Miami side, it's tough.
07:08Like you have, what, are you going to sit Tyreek Hill?
07:11You're not, right?
07:12Like, you're just, you're not going to do that.
07:14Jalen Waddell, kind of the same.
07:16I am in a spot where I kind of have to start Mostert this week if he is healthy, given
07:20bye weeks and stuff like that.
07:22And so, I think the running backs are, you're kind of just, you are understanding that this
07:26is, I just picked under 36 and a half.
07:28So we are hoping that when, whatever Miami player you are starting, you hope that that
07:33is the one that trips and falls into the end zone.
07:36But this is an ugly game.
07:38Speaking of, off to Chicago we go.
07:40It's the Bears taking on the Carolina Panthers.
07:43Bears are favored by four at home, with a point total sitting at 40 and a half.
07:48And this is one, I have tried to fight believing in the Chicago Bears because of how bad this
07:54offense is.
07:55But I do think that this is a game that this defense wins.
07:58I think they go out and just obliterate that offensive line for the Carolina Panthers.
08:04And that pass rush for Chicago is legit.
08:07And that is going to be an issue, I think, for Carolina.
08:11I just don't think that they have the offensive line to hold up to this defense.
08:16And so I think this will be a bit of a come down for Carolina.
08:20So we are going to go with Chicago.
08:23We are going to take them minus four.
08:26Carolina's defense, like in this whole thing, this resurgence that they have had under Andy
08:31Dalton where they have surged to one win.
08:36You look at it, they have back-to-back games.
08:40They gave up 34 points to the Bengals and 22 to the Raiders.
08:44Which is like giving up 34 points to anyone else.
08:46So I think that this defense maybe is still not good.
08:51And while I do not think that that means Chicago lights the world on fire, I do think that
08:57this is going to be probably another low-scoring game.
08:59So we are also going to go under, sorry I know the camera is shaking on these, I could
09:03just go back and re-listen after, but who wants to do that, right?
09:07Forty and a half is the total.
09:09We're going to go under that one as well.
09:10But Chicago minus four is definitely one that has our interest this week, shall we say.
09:16From a fantasy football standpoint, I think I made it pretty clear.
09:18I'm not super trusting a lot of my Panthers this week.
09:21I'm definitely not going with Andy Dalton.
09:24Deontay Johnson, he has certainly found a role in this offense, and I think that as
09:30a flex option, you can still start him this week.
09:33Xavier Leguette, I liked him last week.
09:35I like him as a player just in general.
09:38I would try to not this week, if I were you, and see if you can get a better option out there.
09:42With the running backs, Chuba is getting his, and he's continuing to make it work.
09:46I think you kind of just keep rolling with him, and you're basically hoping that he
09:50gets the touchdown, right?
09:52On the Chicago side, uh, definitely not Caleb Williams.
09:56That one is a... need to see a few good games out of that.
10:00But I think you can start the pass catchers.
10:02I think you can feel comfortable with the healthy pass catchers for Chicago, you can
10:06roll out with that.
10:07DeAndre Swift, he has a big game, but I still am not loving it.
10:13But I do think you can trust it a little bit here against Carolina, and for deep leagues
10:16I do think Roshun Johnson getting some goal line work is legitimate.
10:20So there's actually a decent amount of fantasy options from this game.
10:23The Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Indianapolis Colts.
10:26The total is at 45.5, Jacksonville favored by 3 points.
10:31The Jags are now 0-4 after a close loss last week against the Houston Texans, while the
10:36Indianapolis Colts coming off of a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
10:41What are we looking at for Anthony Richardson injury status right now?
10:47Not questionable, with an oblique, okay.
10:51This is going to be, I think, a probably year-long thing with the Indianapolis Colts in the not
10:56trusting of Anthony Richardson, and not knowing what you are going to get out of this player
11:01on a week-in-week-out basis now, given the injury, and it sounds like it's just kind
11:06of a pain tolerance thing at this point, which is not fun to deal with.
11:10Certainly, when you're trying to get a kid experience when he's only played like 20 football
11:15games in the last three years.
11:16So, it's a tricky spot, this is an absolute stay-away for me, I want no part of this game
11:21at all, um, Jacksonville, it should be better, it's not getting better, and I have some,
11:30you know, very big concerns about this one.
11:33So I, 45.5 seems kind of high for these two teams, given the potential struggles on offense
11:40for Anthony Richardson.
11:41I will say though, I think that a little bit of the narrative is getting, just the slightest
11:46bit overblown.
11:47Whoa, Joe Flacco came in and led the team to victory, like yes he did.
11:50I will say though, Richardson was looking good in the first parts of those games.
11:54They were starting to complete the ball downfield, and actually moving it a little bit, and so
11:59that did help.
12:00So he was looking good, but there's just too many question marks on either side of
12:03this game for me to assume that this is going to be a high scoring game, and it pains me
12:10that 45.5 is a high scoring game, but I'm going to go under 45.5 there.
12:15The Houston Texans are at home against the Bills of Buffalo.
12:19The Texans favored by one, this is certainly the game of the early slate, as the Houston
12:24Texans try to get things figured out, and Buffalo kind of gets deflated a little bit,
12:29and brought back down to earth after getting just whooped on by the Baltimore Ravens last
12:37week.
12:38And I think that was a really good indicator of, um, maybe we were taking things a little
12:43bit too seriously.
12:44Toxic's making moves!
12:45Toxic's picking up people while we're, we just did a Colts breakdown, also I forgot
12:48to give fantasy advice, but one of the things I would say is, keep an eye on Trey Sermon,
12:53and Toxic just comes in.
12:54Boom.
12:55Trey Sermon.
12:56Mine.
12:57Loading up, um, from a fantasy standpoint in the Vampire League.
13:00So make it moves.
13:01Uh, Toxic.
13:02We'll get back to the fantasy breakdown of that game in a minute, apologies, I missed
13:04that one.
13:05But, um, yeah, Buffalo, I think this was a reminder that yes, things have gone very well.
13:10And I had said, like, they were playing the best football in the NFL going into Sunday
13:16night against the Baltimore Ravens.
13:18It was a nice reminder that they were playing the best football against Jacksonville, who
13:23has a lot of shit they need to get figured out, Miami, who, ditto, and Arizona, who sure
13:29do try really hard, but maybe have a few holes in their game.
13:33And so maybe we shouldn't have taken Buffalo as seriously as we did.
13:37And I think that comes around in this one as well.
13:38I think this is going to be a game where they have real trouble stopping the Houston Texans.
13:43I think this is going to be one that is going to be a real high-scoring game.
13:48And so I think that this is going to be over that 47 and a half.
13:53And I do think that it'll be the Texans covering this one.
13:56I think Houston kind of comes back down to earth.
13:59I think Buffalo continues to kind of come back down to earth and kind of settles in
14:02as a good-not-great team.
14:03Hey, Deeds, how's it going?
14:05Thanks for popping into the chat again today, I appreciate it.
14:08From a fantasy standpoint, toxic.
14:12From a fantasy standpoint, sorry, I always struggle, because I am not the advanced streamer
14:18that I should be, and I don't have the chats on the side, like we have it just in the thing.
14:23But I put all these up on YouTube after, and so I'm reacting to things that are going on
14:26in the chat, and the people who watch these on YouTube don't have a fucking clue what's
14:30going on.
14:31So apologies for those watching after.
14:33Maybe I'll try to get that rectified here in a little bit.
14:36But from a fantasy standpoint, I kind of think you're starting everybody.
14:39I just took over 47.5.
14:41So Khalil Shakir on Buffalo is someone I think you can trust.
14:44James Cook, I think they should trust him more, but I think you can roll with that.
14:48And from a Texans standpoint, sounds like Tank Dell is back, roll with him.
14:52Tommy Diggs isn't going to have a big week.
14:54And Nico Collins is making a very strong case for being like a number one overall pick next
14:58year.
14:59Obviously we're starting the quarterbacks here.
15:01Keep an eye on Joe Mixon.
15:02What are we looking at here for Mixon's health?
15:06Oh, I just told you to start Khalil Shakir.
15:08He's out this week.
15:09Apologies.
15:10So don't start him.
15:13But I do think that that is a...
15:14Well, before I...
15:15Let's go through the rest of the thing here.
15:16Okay, no.
15:17Before...
15:18I think that opens...
15:20I really do think that...
15:23Why am I blanking on the name?
15:24Keon Coleman.
15:25Right?
15:26That's him?
15:27That is a player that the Bills, I think, are just kind of scratching the surface on
15:33here a little bit.
15:35And they are a...
15:36He is a player that I think that they can kind of roll with a little bit more.
15:40It's funny.
15:41I was listening to Bet the Board, and they were talking about how, like, all the guys
15:45who were there before, the Cook, Shakir, I guess they drafted Coleman.
15:49But Kincaid, all those guys are doing well.
15:51But the guys who they brought in, the MVS, the Curtis Samuel, all that, none of those
15:55guys are really clicking in the way that they need them to.
15:57But no, I think Coleman has a pretty good game here this week.
16:00And that would be one that I certainly would be looking at in fantasy football as someone
16:07who I think can step up.
16:08Because I think Josh Allen with Stefan Diggs on that other sideline, given how we all perceive
16:13that whole breakup went, I think that's going to be one that there's going to be a little
16:17bit of a...
16:18A little bit of fuck you going on in that particular matchup.
16:20But I am here on the injury part because I wanted to see Joe Mixon, Joe Mixon, Joe
16:26Mixon.
16:27Boy, they got a lot of guys hurt right now.
16:29Is Mixon not even on the injury report for the Texans?
16:31Are we that much of a good to go?
16:34Or am I just missing this?
16:36Alright, so I think Joe Mixon's good to go in this game.
16:39If he is, that is 100% a go.
16:42Joe Mixon is not Derrick Henry.
16:44But Joe Mixon is also not not a very good running back.
16:47So I think that this is going to be a, um, oh shit, well now here at Fantasy Footballers,
16:53Joe Mixon not expected to suit up.
16:56Not expected to play week 5.
16:57Okay, apologies.
16:58I'm looking at the, like, I don't know why he's not on this injury report thing that
17:01I'm looking at, or if I'm just blowing past him.
17:05That does change it a little bit.
17:07And honestly, now that we've kind of, you know, gone over that, I'm going to change
17:11it.
17:12I am going to go Buffalo plus 1.
17:14Ah, because Joe, because, okay, see?
17:17Toxic Nose.
17:18Trey Sermon in place of Joe Mixon.
17:20That's actually a really good call.
17:21This is showing how close this game is.
17:22I've scratched this out two times now.
17:24I'm sticking with Houston minus 1 as my pick for this game.
17:27Cam Akers just hasn't really shown that explosiveness.
17:29And I do think that this Houston team does rely on the run, probably too much.
17:34But that is an aspect of their game that is going to be, I think, severely lacking.
17:38I think if you are kind of desperate, or if you need like a real cheap DFS play, I think
17:43Cam Akers is actually a sneaky good play for you this week.
17:47Okay, so, in-depth injury analysis there, for sure.
17:51I did miss the fantasy breakdown on Colt's Jaguars.
17:54Toxic has already picked up Trey Sermon.
17:56I think that's a good call.
17:57He looked good, like, in the runs that he was getting in place of Jonathan Taylor last
18:01week.
18:02There looked like there was some explosion there.
18:04And so, I think monitor the injury report with everything with, like, do a better job
18:09of it than I did with Jonathan Taylor and everything like that.
18:15But I do think that you can, yeah, Taylor is questionable right now with that ankle
18:20injury, but I, we'll see.
18:23If nothing else, I think there's going to be a little bit of a split.
18:25But aside from that, like, I think you can trust Pittman.
18:31It's so tough to trust anyone else in Indianapolis right now, so that's probably all I would
18:35do.
18:36On the Jacksonville side, Brian Thomas is legit.
18:39You roll with him every week.
18:41Etienne, just based on where you drafted him and the fact that we're into buys now, you
18:44probably have to.
18:46But Tank Bigsby continues to be a really good speculative ad.
18:49Bigsby should be owned in almost every league because of the opportunity that could be there.
18:54And I do think that this would be a game that I would start Trevor Lawrence in.
18:59I just, I can't trust Anthony Richardson until we see it for a week, at least, there.
19:04So, that is the fantasy breakdown for a game we talked about a little bit earlier.
19:08The Cincinnati Bengals are at home against the Baltimore Ravens.
19:10The total is 49 and a half.
19:13Baltimore coming in as a two and a half point favorite.
19:15A lot of people that I have heard, a lot of smart people who I listen to, are on the Bengals
19:21this week.
19:22And I, I just, I can't get there with this group.
19:25I think defensively that there have been just too many holes for this team to really overcome.
19:31They get a good win last week against Carolina, but they couldn't stop anything against Washington.
19:36Which I am, we're seeing, that's not the worst thing.
19:39But I, I just, I don't buy into this defense being able to stop Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore
19:45Ravens.
19:46Now, we had a big thing last week, and this is going to come up in the next game too,
19:49but we had a big thing last year where every week a team would have a big, like, seismic
19:56change their spots in the Power Rankings win.
20:00And then the next week they come out and shit the bed.
20:02And so I am a little bit worried about that from a Baltimore Ravens standpoint.
20:07But coming up after this for Baltimore, they have the Giants and the Browns, so I don't
20:11think we have to worry about a look-ahead spot or anything like that.
20:15I think they're going to be really focused on this game.
20:17This is a huge one for them.
20:19And when you look at the Bengals, their offense so far this season has done well against Carolina
20:24and Washington.
20:25Like, I just, I'm not buying that this offense is all figured out.
20:29The Chiefs did a pretty good job of limiting them, and obviously New England kind of just
20:33took their lunch money in Week 1.
20:35Now Baltimore, the defense does have some holes.
20:38That is, that is legitimate.
20:39But I do think that this offense, they are figuring out what they have in Derrick Henry.
20:44And they are figuring out how to kind of utilize everyone here.
20:48And so I think that that is a really, I think it's a really good football team over in Baltimore.
20:53And so I am going against all of the smart people and going with Baltimore minus 2.5
20:58for this one.
20:59Washington taking on the Cleveland Browns.
21:01The Commanders are favored by 3.5 points with a total at 43.5.
21:05Sorry, we'll get to that in a second.
21:07Fantasy football.
21:08Can you tell I've done this for a decade?
21:11Fantasy football for the Bengals and the Ravens.
21:14I, like, Joe Burrow is, both quarterbacks have been drafted in spots where I think you
21:20kind of have to every week, right?
21:21Lamar I think has a good matchup this week.
21:23On the Bengals side, like, you're starting chase.
21:25Higgins is becoming maybe a bit more of a factor in these things.
21:29And so I think that there is an option there to maybe take advantage of.
21:34From a running back standpoint, Chase Brown continues to look good.
21:37And I think he's going to continue to get a little bit of the work.
21:39But I think Zach Moss is probably going to get more of it.
21:41So Brown is a bit more of a, if you're desperate on a buy, sort of a situation.
21:45While Moss is the more stable option in that backfield, which I think says a lot.
21:51Also, people are going to be pissed about Mike Giesicki from last week.
21:53I think there's an opportunity here.
21:55We have seen where you beat Baltimore is over the middle of the field.
21:59And I think that Giesicki has a real chance to pick up a lot of, like, kind of, I think
22:05he's going to be a PPR beast this week.
22:07I think he does have a really good week.
22:08So he would be one that I would kind of target in DFS, maybe.
22:11From a Baltimore standpoint, Zay Flowers is quite good, and so I think you trust him.
22:17Obviously Derek Henry.
22:18This one feels like it's going to be a bit of a closer game.
22:21And so I do think that there's going to be a bit more Justice Hill involved.
22:24So I think for deep leagues, I think that, um, I think that you can roll with that.
22:29Deeds.
22:30Fuck running backs.
22:32Both my RBs are currently questionable.
22:34Yeah.
22:35Yeah.
22:36That's a, that's a thing.
22:37I'm in, I mean, I'm in a lot of leagues, but I'm in one where I have either everyone on
22:42buy or hurt this week, and I got two guys in my lineup.
22:46One's questionable and it looks like they're probably going to go, but the other is Taysom
22:49Hill.
22:50And he's questionable with fractured ribs, I think it is.
22:53And that, that doesn't seem like fun.
22:55Um, so that, that's, uh, you know, oh, and it's the Monday night or two.
23:00So A, I don't want to drop anyone on my bench.
23:02We already had to drop someone who I didn't want to drop anyway.
23:05Also, I discovered today or yesterday that that league doesn't have an IR spot.
23:09So for commissioners out there, IR spots.
23:12I put four in the Vampire League.
23:14So, um, I mean that I thought that would help me because I could stash people, but then
23:19everyone else realized there was four IR spots and they're stashing other people.
23:22So, um, that's been a little annoying, but I, like, IR spots are fine.
23:26Um, and the fact that we didn't have any and I have Rasheed Rice and they're saying, oh,
23:30well, it could be four weeks.
23:32Can y'all fuck off with that, please?
23:35But still, um, that, that was just a mini rant.
23:38So yeah, no, it's, it's tough out there.
23:40Deeds.
23:41For sure.
23:42Um, yeah, London, um, that was a thing, right?
23:46But back to this game, uh, Bengals and Ravens.
23:49I do think for the, for the Deeds of the world, uh, who both running backs are questionable
23:54right now.
23:55Honestly, I think Justice Hill isn't the worst play to like, I think he's going to get a
23:58lot of looks out of that backfield and a pass catching role.
24:02And I think that that's going to be like, he's going to, this is going to be a close
24:06game I think all the way down.
24:08And so I think like two minute drills, oh Baltimore, all of a sudden they're down by
24:12three.
24:13We need to pass the ball.
24:14In comes Justice Hill for a full drive and they really start to utilize things.
24:18The Mark Andrews one, if you can't trust him anymore, I understand that entirely.
24:22I do still think given how tight end is, you kind of have to roll with them, but I can
24:27fully understand not at this point.
24:29Uh, okay.
24:30Browns against Washington.
24:31It is the Commanders favored by three and a half points with a total of 43 and a half.
24:36For Washington, um, they are obviously the darlings right now.
24:41Coming off of a couple of very explosive games.
24:44They are three in one, they are the talk of the NFL, and they are kicking the shit
24:48out of people.
24:49Uh, their offense so far in the four games this season has scored 20 points, 21 points,
24:56but then the last couple of weeks, 38 and 42.
24:59Going up against a Cleveland Browns defense that I still think is good, but not great.
25:06This one, this entire, um, I guess handicap or prediction or whatever is solely based
25:13on nothing I have seen on the football field.
25:15It is just, quite frankly, things are going too good in Washington right now.
25:20And so I do think that this is just a little bit of the air getting let out.
25:25And what we talked about in the Baltimore game, where last year, teams that had like
25:30this big, like this is their biggest win of the year, kind of came back and laid an egg
25:33in their next matchup, and um, so that's, again, it's all anecdotal, it's all a trendy
25:40thing.
25:41It's all on the field analysis.
25:43I just have this feeling that we're all too much on Washington right now.
25:48And look, if they come out and kick the shit out of, uh, out of Cleveland, then I will
25:52change my tune.
25:53But, and look, like this could be a team that makes the playoffs, right?
25:56And we kind of even said in the preseason, in the previews, like, look, this is a team
26:00that I kind of want to, I kind of want to get to the playoffs, but I just can't get
26:04there with this defense.
26:05Now, the Browns are not a team that's going to take advantage of that, but I do think
26:09that this is an alright defensive team that will have a better understanding of how to
26:13defend against Washington than other teams have.
26:16So I am going, this is the furthest thing from something I'm going to click on this
26:20week.
26:21This is just a feel.
26:22I'm going to go Cleveland plus three and a half.
26:24You get, you lose by a field goal, and you still win this one, uh, for Cleveland.
26:28The Raiders taking on the Denver Broncos.
26:30The total's at 35 and a, oh, sorry, fantasy, goddammit, fantasy football advice.
26:36I can't imagine sitting someone against Washington's defense.
26:40So Amari Cooper, A, can we get Amari Cooper out of Cleveland?
26:44Can we do that?
26:45What a career this guy has had.
26:47With the Raiders, when they're awful, I don't know why I had to specify that.
26:50It's the Raiders.
26:51They've always been awful.
26:52They're my favorite team, I can say that.
26:53Um, he goes to Dallas for a little bit, and it's fun, and then he gets moved to Cleveland,
26:56and now it's dog shit again.
26:57Let's get this guy.
26:58Can the Chiefs trade for Amari Cooper, please?
27:00Can they just do that?
27:01That would be so much fun, to have that guy there.
27:03Can we just get him out of Cleveland?
27:05Because he is, I think, a stud.
27:06And I think you have to roll with that, and I think Jerry Judy, you can roll with him
27:09as well.
27:10Running back, Jerome Ford, yep, trustin' it.
27:12On the Washington side, like, who are you sitting right now because of how good this
27:15team is?
27:16I know I just went through that whole thing of, well, maybe Cleveland's defense limits
27:19and blah blah blah blah blah blah.
27:21You're still, there's no way I'm telling you to sit Jaden Daniels on the run that he
27:24is on.
27:25Um, with the running backs, um, Brian Robinson, um, Eckler got banged up and McNichols actually
27:31looked really interesting in that backfield, so that's, I'm not saying start him, uh,
27:37or either of those guys.
27:38I think Robinson is kind of the only one that you can go with.
27:41I know he's questionable with the knee, um, I do think he'll be fine, but, um, I mean,
27:46keep an eye on that situation because McNichols is, um, yeah, I think really talented and
27:51really quite good.
27:52And McLaurin, I think you can trust as well.
27:54So that's, um, basically start everyone, even the tight end, uh, Ertz, right?
28:00Yeah.
28:01Start Zach Ertz this week.
28:02Raiders!
28:03Taking on the Denver Broncos.
28:04Total's at 35 and a half.
28:05That's disgusting.
28:06Um, and the, uh, spread is Denver minus two and a half.
28:11There's a lot going on in Vegas right now with the whole, uh, Devontae Adams thing.
28:16Also, if Cleveland could get out of their own way, I think they kind of kicked the shit
28:19out of the Raiders last week.
28:21Um, Amari Cooper had an 80-85 yard touchdown called back for a holding call that was just
28:25kind of eh.
28:26Um, they had some pass interference on plays as well that really kind of ruined things.
28:31Um, and so, like, I think the Raiders were kind of outplayed in that game.
28:38I can't in all good conscience take, like, give up points to pick Denver, though.
28:44So I will take two and a half and go with the Raiders in this spot, and boy, if that
28:48gets to three, that might actually be something to click on because there's, I just, Denver
28:54doesn't strike me as a team that blows anyone out.
28:56From Fantasy Football, God, I hope you don't have to start anyone this week.
28:59Um, for Denver, kind of nobody.
29:04If you have to, Courtland Sutton, he might get something here against the Raiders.
29:08Um, I just said Amari Cooper almost had a gigantic touchdown against the Raiders, so
29:13I mean, maybe Courtland Sutton gets that.
29:15Devontae Williams, if you're desperate, which it sounds like some people might be, but aside
29:19from that, not a whole lot.
29:20On the Raiders' side, I don't want anything to do with their running game at all.
29:24Zemir White has been just dreadful to start this year.
29:28The pass catchers, I do think, like, Bowers has worked his way into being maybe the best
29:33player in this offense when Devontae Adams gets traded.
29:36Jacoby Myers is actually way more talented than I give him credit for, and has played
29:41quite well so far this year.
29:43And they got this kid, Tucker, who they are, and this is the one thing that I've been really
29:48happy about from a Raiders standpoint, they're showing some creativity in the offense, and
29:51Tucker is one of those guys who can go out and get it done with the speed that he has,
29:56and some of the creativity that he has been rolling with.
30:00So that has been, I think, a real nice kind of growth moment there for, um, for the Raiders
30:07and Tucker.
30:08So I think for deeper leagues, and maybe even like some not-so-deep leagues, that's a pickup.
30:12I don't know if I'm playing him this week, unless you have to, but that's certainly a
30:15pickup that you can roll with.
30:16Also, I am now just realizing that I normally schedule these Friday ones for noon, so I
30:21don't know why I was panicked to get this started at 10.
30:23But here we are, we're getting it early, and getting it all out of the way on a scrambled
30:27Friday, but that just shows you where my head has been the last couple of days.
30:3149ers, minus 7.5 as they take on the Arizona Cardinals with a total at 49.5.
30:38San Francisco, they get the offense a little bit more on track last week against the New
30:43England Patriots.
30:44There was a couple of times they were settling for field goals, maybe a little bit too much,
30:47but this is still a team that is showing now all the different things that they have.
30:54And I think you can start to feel a little bit more confident from a 49ers standpoint.
30:59But for Arizona, it has been a little bit limited the last couple of games.
31:04I do think 7.5 is a bit too much of a spread between these two.
31:08I do think that Arizona has kind of just, they've stumbled a little bit, and it hasn't
31:13looked all that great.
31:14Washington did just mollywop those guys.
31:17And Detroit did a pretty good job of limiting them.
31:19And so when you do look at it, it is 14 points and 13 points in the last couple of games.
31:25But I still think that there is a lot of offensive upside on this side.
31:30And I do think that San Francisco's defense, they just keep getting banged up and they
31:34keep getting banged up and they keep getting banged up.
31:36So I actually do think that Arizona covers the spread in this one, and so I will take
31:41Arizona plus 7.5.
31:43I just think that Arizona's offense is going to be enough to kind of keep pace with what
31:47San Francisco does.
31:48The 49ers probably win this game, but I do think that Arizona kind of keeps it close
31:52anyway.
31:54And from a fantasy standpoint, Kyler Murray, you're starting.
31:58James Conner, same.
32:00Harrison, yes.
32:01And we've said, like, deeper leagues, Wilson is getting more of the snaps, and now he's
32:04starting to get more of the targets, so he's someone that you can trust as well.
32:09And on the 49ers side, I think the Jennings thing's probably kind of done.
32:16With Kittle and Samuel back, Iyuk, we had a conversation about him on Monday, or sorry,
32:21on Tuesday, about whether we can trust him or not.
32:24I do think you have to kind of keep trusting him, but I don't think I would put Jennings
32:30ahead of him.
32:31So we're back to Jennings being a, let's keep him around and just see.
32:34But I'm not trusting him at this point.
32:38But then I think you can go with Mason, and then the Studs over in San Francisco, and
32:43I think Purdy is a quarterback that you can start this week.
32:46The Giants, taking on the Seattle Seahawks.
32:48The total is at 42 and a half, with Seattle, the home favorite, of 7.
32:53The Giants are bad, okay?
32:55Seattle's defense kind of got lit up last week against the Detroit Lions.
33:00They kind of just couldn't stop anything.
33:02And so I am seeing a few people trending a little bit more on the Giants' side, and
33:07thinking like, Seattle's defense, like maybe they're not going to be able to stop this.
33:10And that's going to be that.
33:12There's a big difference, I think, between Daniel Jones and Jared Goff, right?
33:18And there's a big difference between Aminrah St. Brown and Wanda Robinson.
33:23And I don't even know who to compare on the Giants beyond that, because you've never heard
33:26of any of them.
33:27Malik Nabors is going to be out this week with a concussion.
33:30And so I just, I don't see how the Giants keep up with this.
33:34And also, the Giants' defense isn't going to do shit against the Seattle offense.
33:39So I think that this is one that you can feel comfortable with taking Seattle minus the 7.
33:46If you want to throw them on a bit of a teaser side, maybe you can do that, although there
33:50aren't a whole lot of other obvious options in this one.
33:53Maybe adding 6 to the Raiders, so you can take it through a couple of key numbers there,
33:57and go Raiders plus 8 and a half, along with a Seattle tease at minus 7.
34:01Again, not advice, just putting it out there, you know?
34:05From a fantasy standpoint, I do think you can go with Wanda Robinson.
34:08Like there were yards to be had through the air last week for the Lions against Seattle,
34:13and Wanda Robinson got just a shitload of targets.
34:15I think it was 11 receptions for 71 yards, which kind of tells you all you need to know
34:19about this offense.
34:20But, I think that he is going to be a factor, but the rest of them, like, I guess if you're
34:25desperate and, like Singletary is a fine start I guess this week.
34:28With how Gibbs was able to power run the ball against Seattle.
34:32And so that is, um, that's an option as well, but those are the only two.
34:37And for Seattle, I think you can start everybody.
34:38Kenneth Walker looked like a stud, and goddamn was that annoying.
34:41I lost to Aaron Vickers from NHL.com in Calgary Media League because Kenneth Walker just kept
34:47scoring touchdowns.
34:48It was funny.
34:49We had, and I know no one wants to hear about anyone else's fantasy league, but we had just
34:53an absolutely putrid battle on Sunday.
34:55And then Monday night comes, and it's just, Kenneth Walker, touchdown.
34:59Jamison Williams, 70 yard touchdown.
35:01And we just, like, our Monday night guys were just like back and forth, just absolute haymakers.
35:06And eventually, last Kenneth Walker score ends up putting him over the top, but yeah,
35:12that was, it was quite the performance.
35:13And I think he is the guy.
35:14I do think you can still start Charbonnet.
35:16I think he is a bit more of a flex option.
35:18And I think you roll with Smith and Jigba, Lockett, and Metcalf at receiver, and you
35:23just kind of hope that it's their game.
35:25Lockett, like, I think there's going to be room for all of them to contribute in this
35:30game anyway.
35:31Rams, taking on the Green Bay Packers.
35:35The Packers are favored by three, the total is at 48 and a half.
35:38I am curious as to why this is so low.
35:41And this is a, maybe this is an overreaction from me, but one of the things we talked about
35:45on Tuesday is it's time for us to stop taking the Rams so seriously.
35:50Because they continue to just let us down, and let us down, and let us down.
35:54And they had that nice showing in week one against Detroit, where they kind of hung around
35:59and forced that game into overtime.
36:02And then they get a win over the 49ers in a great comeback.
36:04But that was a Lions team that, I mean, hey, they still only scored 20.
36:09And the Lions put up some yards, they just weren't able to finish drives, and they're
36:12still figuring some stuff out.
36:14Week two, they get just shit-pumped by Arizona, and it's 21-0 before that game really even
36:20started.
36:21And then week three, they're getting curb-stomped by San Francisco, until the fourth quarter
36:26when Kyle Shanahan, Kyle Shanahan'd all over that game, and they blew another late lead,
36:32and the Rams were able to come back, and then last week, they had way too much trouble with
36:35that Chicago Bears team.
36:37So, you'll excuse me if I don't know why we need to take them seriously, even at home,
36:43against the Green Bay Packers.
36:45The Rams do have a bit more of a home field advantage at SoFi than the Chargers do, but
36:49you're going to tell me that place ain't going to be, at least, like, 40% Packers fans
36:55on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles?
36:57In October?
36:58Yeah, there's going to be fans from Green Bay who want to get the hell out of Dodge
37:02for a weekend to go to LA?
37:04Yeah.
37:05100%.
37:06So, I think that this is going to be a Green Bay team that actually puts up quite a few
37:11points.
37:12I know there's no Christian Walker, but this is why you have like 18 talented wide receivers
37:16on your team is so that when one guy goes down, you just keep filling them up, and you
37:20don't really have to worry about any of the repercussions, and you just kind of keep rolling
37:24with that.
37:25So I think the Green Bay Packers get the job done, and I just think this offense is too
37:29good for this defense to stop.
37:31Like, they gave up 24 points to Chicago last week, and Chicago is one of the easier teams
37:36to defend.
37:37You just send five, and all of a sudden, you've cracked the code.
37:41And so I think, seeing how Jordan Love got back into the swing of things in the back
37:48part of that game against Minnesota, I think he's going to be a bit more ready, a bit more
37:51prepared, and going to come out and beat on the LA Rams.
37:55So that one surprises me, to the point where I'm looking at it like, what am I missing
38:00in this one?
38:01We'll be waiting all day for Sunday night.
38:04It'll be the Steelers.
38:05Two and a half point favorites at home against the Dallas Cowboys in the total at 43 and
38:09a half.
38:10This one I don't think will be very pretty.
38:12But I do agree that the Pittsburgh Steelers should be favored here.
38:16I was worried we were taking a lot of favorites, but there was a stretch in the middle there
38:19where we took some underdogs.
38:20Because I'm going Steelers here in this one as well.
38:23Pittsburgh, offensively they showed a little bit last week against Indy, and the Dallas
38:29defense is banged up and also isn't good.
38:32And so I think that this is going to be a week where there are going to be some points
38:36scored.
38:37Hey Conrad, how's it going?
38:39This is going to be a week where there's going to be some points scored for the Pittsburgh
38:43Steelers.
38:44I think Justin Fields continues to learn this offense, Arthur Smith continues to learn how
38:48to use him, I think, a little bit inefficiently, but uses him.
38:53And Dallas' defense, with the injuries that they have, is not one that really threatens
38:57you.
38:58The Steelers defense did kind of, I don't want to say get exposed last week, but there
39:01was just a little bit of a, hmm, maybe you're not as good as we think you are.
39:06I know Highsmith this week again for Pittsburgh, and that is a concern over the middle, but
39:10I do still think that that Pittsburgh defense is going to give Dallas a lot of problems
39:15offensively.
39:16And the, like, quite frankly Dallas' offense is a little bit, um, one-dimensional at this
39:26point.
39:27The team can't run for shit, and they have one good receiver.
39:30You're telling me that Mike Tomlin can't figure that out?
39:34So I think the Steelers win this one kind of going away, and we talk about, like, hmm,
39:38we're not taking the Steelers seriously enough when everything resumes on Monday.
39:42Speaking of Monday, Monday Night Football, it is the Chiefs taking on the New Orleans
39:46Saints.
39:47We'll get to that in a second.
39:48We've got to talk fantasy.
39:49Yeah, Conrad, Mooney, Mooney's beastin'.
39:52And we kind of talked about Mooney, as someone that you may want to look at from a waiver
39:55wire standpoint, but he is certainly benefiting from Kirk Cousins, probably the most of anyone
40:01in that offense.
40:03And so, if you need, I think there's going to be a little bit more of a aggressiveness
40:10for some teams in fantasy, like Toxic earlier had Mike Evans, so I think Eric, who's playing
40:16Toxic this week in the Vampire League, needs to maybe be a bit more aggressive.
40:20And so this is where I think lineup construction comes in.
40:23So if you're like Conrad and Mooney TorchTube, or if you are like Eric and you're playing
40:29Toxic who had Mike Evans, or you're like me and you're a little bit behind, I think
40:34this is where you go with a little bit more boom or bust sort of players.
40:38There are guys on your bench who are going to be the more safe ones, probably, right?
40:41Like we talked about Zach Moss before.
40:43He's safe.
40:44Devin Singletary's safe.
40:45They're not going to blow up, but they're not going to kill you.
40:49But I do think when you are behind in those sorts of ways, I do think that it is smart
40:53to kind of go out and go with the, alright, home run swing, man, let's fucking go.
40:59Maybe we were just going to go with Sam Darnold before, but fuck it, man.
41:03Let's roll with Justin Fields and just see what happens.
41:06See if we can get a Russian touchdown or two in there as well.
41:09So yeah, that's, I think that that needs to be kind of discussed here, is that you do
41:14need to be a little bit more aggressive with your lineups.
41:17And so I forgot to do fantasy breakdowns for a couple of games.
41:20So going back, Packers against the Rams, I just said, I think you're starting Jordan
41:25Love this week, and you're probably starting Jordan Love every week.
41:27And you're starting basically all the remade pass catchers, right?
41:30Like Wicks, I think Reid is so talented, and I just got that one wrong this preseason.
41:36And Dubs has a chance to get into the end zone, so I think you have to start all of
41:39those guys.
41:40I'm in a spot similar to UConn, Rad, where my, in one of my leagues, my season has gone
41:45to shit, and it is another week where I'm kind of projected to be on the wrong side
41:50of things.
41:51So I'm throwing Wicks in, just to try to get that home run swing out of it.
41:55You can start Josh Jacobs.
41:56I think that that's going to be a good one.
41:59And Emmanuel Wilson.
42:00I don't think you can roll him out there as a for-sure start just yet, but if you're
42:04in a desperate situation, I do think that he's getting a little bit more of the workload
42:09out in Green Bay than people were anticipating, and so he can be a guy that, in deep leagues,
42:14you can throw out there and at least hope.
42:16For the Rams, there isn't a whole lot.
42:17It's Kyron Williams.
42:19Green Bay's defense I don't think is that good, that you just don't start Matthew
42:23Stafford this week.
42:24He's not that bad that you absolutely have to, but I think he is a very valuable streaming
42:28option, and I don't trust any of the pass catchers in LA right now.
42:34Cowboys against Steelers from a fantasy standpoint, I do think that as an if-you-are-desperate
42:39sort of a play, Justin Fields is pretty good as a streaming option this week.
42:43Najee Harris is a go, and for deep leagues, Cordero Patterson.
42:47If Najee Harris isn't playing, which definitely check that, or sorry, if Jalen Warren isn't
42:51playing, which definitely keep an eye on that, but Cordero Patterson I think has some
42:55value in this offense.
42:57We know Arthur Smith loves him.
42:58We know that the kind of, um, the lightning in Thunder and Lightning combinations in Pittsburgh
43:04actually works pretty well, and so I think you can go with that.
43:06And then George Pickens is a play.
43:09For Dallas, I would not be… if I could avoid Dak this week, I would.
43:13I'm not starting any of the running backs, and CeeDee Lamb is kind of the only receiver
43:17that you can go with.
43:18I mean, I haven't talked about tight end a whole lot in any of these.
43:22If you have the tight end in any of these matchups, just fucking throw them out.
43:25And, um, see what happens.
43:28Sorry, Toxic.
43:29I should be a bit more, um, specific.
43:32What's considered a deep league?
43:3412 teams?
43:35I…
43:36I wouldn't consider a 12 team league super deep, necessarily.
43:42I guess that 12 is kind of the whatever.
43:45Anything beyond 12, I would consider deep.
43:47Like, I consider a 14 team league deep, and I consider a, um, 16 team league to be deep.
43:54And then anything beyond that, you're a fucking psychopath.
43:57But for 12 teams, if it… if it is moderately competitive, or deeper benches, then you can
44:02consider that deep.
44:03But when I am saying, like, oh yeah, Cordero-Patterson are a deeper league, I am thinking more 14
44:07and 16 team leagues.
44:08Um, oddly enough, I'm seeing more 16 than 14.
44:12It's funny, once you get to 14, it's like, ah, fuck it, man, let's just get half the
44:14league.
44:15Let's go.
44:16But I do think that that's, you know, not a bad… not a bad suggestion there.
44:21Anyway, 18 team dynasty league, let's go.
44:24Holy hell.
44:25That is…
44:26That's something, man.
44:27That's crazy.
44:28Uh, I've never played an 18 team league before.
44:3016 is the deepest I've gone.
44:32Um, 16 team with, uh, 5 keepers and a bench that is way too deep for… for that sort
44:39of a thing.
44:40But, uh, would love to try something a little bit deeper like that.
44:42So, I'm not…
44:43I'm not in any, like, full dynasty where you play, like, the whole season and there's
44:47a rookie draft and you can add and drop guys throughout the offseason and stuff like that
44:52and you just keep everyone.
44:53I'm not in one of those.
44:54So I'd like to do that too.
44:55That would be a fun kind of a rainy day episode, like, different kind of fantasy leagues I
44:58would like to try.
44:59We're doing one this year with the Vampire League and it's a lot more difficult than
45:02I thought.
45:03Um, but it's, um, it's been a lot of fun to try and get that going, but a win would
45:07be nice in it.
45:08All right.
45:09So, baseball.
45:10It is.
45:11The Kansas City Chiefs taking on the… oh, dude.
45:14Game over dynasty.
45:15Yeah.
45:16I mean, look.
45:17Game over.
45:18Um, there's going to be announcements on, um, hirings here probably pretty soon, uh,
45:20but we're going to have a deep roster.
45:22So we could do… we could do just like a full NHL, like, sim league where we're basically
45:26going to have enough players to just… or enough people in the league to just do, like,
45:30the entire league and just roll with it that way.
45:32By the way, sim league.
45:33Something I have to try at some point.
45:35Baseball probably more than any other sport, but it would be fun to do in anything.
45:38Um, Monday Night Football.
45:40Saints.
45:41Chiefs.
45:42The Kansas City Chiefs are favored by five and a half points, with the total, I believe,
45:46I don't know why I closed my app, well I do know why, someone offered me a low ball
45:49trade offer, um, is, uh, 42 and a half.
45:54So, the Kansas City Chiefs, everybody is hurt.
45:56Everybody hurts.
45:57Um, and I'm kidding.
45:59Uh, it was, it was a joke.
46:01Um.
46:02Kind of.
46:03It was, the Kansas City Chiefs, everybody is hurt right now, right?
46:05Rasheed Rice, his leg got put on backwards.
46:08Isaiah Pacheco, um, broke something.
46:10And so there isn't a whole lot of offensive weaponry here.
46:15But I do think that this is now the start of the Travis Kelsey playing himself into
46:19shape world tour, where he goes out and kind of reminds us all of how good that, um, how
46:26good he can be in, still, as a tight end, and show why he is one of the greatest tight
46:32ends.
46:33Maybe the, probably the greatest tight end in the history of the sport.
46:38But, it's going to be tough for Kansas City to move the ball.
46:40And for one thing, in this game, I have a ton of respect for the New Orleans Saints
46:45defense.
46:46I am probably going to avoid the side in this.
46:48I think Kansas City wins, uh, because they are just a better team than the Saints.
46:52But given the injury issues that Kansas City has, I do think that this is going to be on
46:57the lower side.
46:58So, I'm going to take under 42 and a half.
47:01Uh, the Saints offense, I think they're starting to normalize a little bit.
47:05It's not this juggernaut that we saw in the first couple of weeks of the season.
47:09But it's not, we're only scoring 15 points, or sorry, 12 points, against the Eagles.
47:13Um, I think they're going to be selling right around maybe an average offense, with some
47:18high end upside.
47:20But I do think that this is going to be a week where Kansas City shuts things down.
47:23Having McDuffie as kind of your lockdown corner is so valuable, because they can just put
47:29him on a lave, and it's just done.
47:32And then you can kind of bracket Shaheed.
47:34And there isn't a whole lot else that the New Orleans offense can do.
47:39So I, I do think that, again, this is going to be a real low scoring game.
47:44From a fantasy football standpoint, for the Saints, uh, I just said that they're going
47:47to try to just like, one-on-one take away Olave.
47:50You still kind of have to play him.
47:51And we have seen number two options do well against Kansas City this year.
47:56You think back, like, likely has an unbelievable game, right?
47:59Mike Gusicki has a really, really good game for, uh, for the Bengals.
48:05And then in week three, it was the Falcons, and again, it was Mooney who comes up with
48:10a pretty good game.
48:11Now, London has a good drive late, and that gets him kind of over what we had talked about
48:15before.
48:16But, uh, and then in the Chargers, like, they don't have any passing options that can really
48:19do anything against you.
48:20So, um, I do think that this is a game where you can roll with Shaheed a little bit, and
48:26you kind of just have to trust with Olave and hope that, scheme-wise, there's a late
48:30drive where they just kind of spam throw him the ball a ton.
48:34Keep an eye on Taysom Hill.
48:35If he is not in the lineup, um, I think Jawan Johnson as the tight end can be a good, um,
48:42option for you, for sure.
48:44As a kind of late, like, ah!
48:46Panic move.
48:47Um, and if you are, honestly, if you are super desperate, I do think Noah Gray, the backup
48:53tight end for Kansas City, does help get that ball rolling a little bit with this team.
48:58Because they just need high-level pass catchers right now.
49:01And I don't know if Gray would categorize as high-level, but I would trust him more
49:04than I would trust, like, Juju Smith-Schuster or anything right now.
49:08So, I think that they're going to see a little bit more of that.
49:11So, if you want to roll with Taysom Hill and roll the dice, like, I'm going to have to
49:14in one of my leagues, and just kind of hope for the best that, um, either he is playing
49:20or whatever, then you can, or you find out, I guess, earlier and you don't have to.
49:26But, I think you can then pivot to a couple of the options in this game.
49:30On the Kansas City side, I can't believe I'm saying this.
49:35I would try to not start Mahomes.
49:36Um, he has, like, I listen to the fantasy footballers, he's basically a streamer right
49:41now.
49:42And this isn't a good matchup for him.
49:43And so, I, I would be looking elsewhere for Patrick Mahomes options, if I were you.
49:50And, honestly, like, I would not go with Derek Haar here.
49:52But, it would be an interesting thing to go through and figure out, like, okay, who would
49:56I start over Patrick Mahomes?
49:58So I would kind of try to not.
50:00Kareem Hunt, if you can get over the type of dude that he is, you can absolutely throw
50:05him into your line.
50:06Obviously, you picked him up, you kind of crossed that bridge.
50:07So, if you have him, you are starting him.
50:09I do think Somaji P. Ryan has the option, and, um, has the ability to do something.
50:16Because I do think this game's going to be close.
50:18And so I think the pass catching back has some value.
50:21And again, given the injuries that Kansas City has, they are just going to have to throw
50:26it to talented players.
50:28Um, yeah, Crimney, Drake London is back.
50:32We got that one loud and clear from the Atlanta Falcons, that he is back.
50:36And even Kyle Pitts having a pretty good game.
50:39Maybe we need to recalibrate what we think of Tampa Bay's defense a little bit.
50:41Um, Tampa Bay's turning into a team we can't really trust, right?
50:45We think we can trust them against Denver.
50:47Shit kicked.
50:48We don't think we can trust them against Philadelphia.
50:50Dominated.
50:51Uh, we think we can maybe trust them against Atlanta.
50:54Shit kicked.
50:55So we're kind of all over the place on the Tampa Bay defense there, after we saw that
51:00this week.
51:01But, um, for pass catching options, like I said, I think P. Ryan is a sneaky play this
51:05week.
51:06And I do think that you can, you can roll with Worthy.
51:11I would be interested to see how Dennis Allen tries to take him out.
51:14And like I said, if you're desperate because of, um, Taysom Hill's injury situation, I
51:18think you can roll with Noah Gray in this game.
51:21Because Kansas City just needs people who can catch the football right now.
