00:00Krimny, with a couple of thoughts, as well as Conrad.
00:02I'm rolling the dice on DK and Wandale, as both are listed as questionable.
00:07Yeah, I think they'll play.
00:08This... I don't get this.
00:10You know what I miss?
00:11Probable.
00:12I don't know why the NFL got rid of probable.
00:14Because that was... that was a whole lot... questionable was like,
00:17oh, it's 50-50, I don't know.
00:19And now that's the best one you have.
00:21So, I don't know why we got rid of probable.
00:23That was so nice when we lived in probable, questionable, and doubtful.
00:27You know, they never tell you that you're in the good old days.
00:29Until after, right? Or whatever that line is.
00:33I miss... I miss probable.
00:36And so I would assume, Conrad, that DK and Wandale would both have been listed as probable,
00:41had that distinction been allowed in this silly league that we call the NFL.
00:46But I would feel comfortable with them.
00:48And honestly, I think both guys have good games.
00:50Seattle... I mean, both in the same game.
00:52Seattle going up against the Giants.
00:54Giants can't stop a nosebleed.
00:55And Seattle, like, Wandale-Robinson is going to be that number one option
00:59for the Giants, which is damning with faint praise.
01:04But also, Seattle gave up a bunch of yards through the air last week.
01:09So I do think that there's going to be volume and maybe some opportunity
01:12for Wandale-Robinson moving forward.
01:14Krimney need a running back this week.
01:16Is it smart to pick up Ekler?
01:17Their defense had a lot of injuries.
01:20Ekler also got banged up last week, so I would check on that status if I...
01:26You know what? I'm here.
01:28I obviously have an internet connection.
01:30So let's see. How are we looking?
01:32Austin Ekler-wise.
01:34Because McNichols came in and actually looked pretty good in replacing him.
01:38Clear to play on Sunday, so he should be good to go.
01:41That was 26 minutes ago, according to rotoballer.com.
01:45And if we cannot trust Rotoballer, who can we trust?
01:49Cut to three weeks from now, me working for them.
01:51But I think Ekler's an okay pickup.
01:54Yeah.
01:55Um, if I'm looking at, like, desperation-type moves,
02:00I think there are a couple of the pass-catching option running backs
02:04that you can trust maybe a little bit more than Ekler.
02:06Because Robinson's been a beast for Washington.
02:09Now, Robinson sounds like he's going to be a game-time decision.
02:13So this is one of those roll-the-dice things that we talked about before.
02:16If Robinson's banged up, then Ekler all of a sudden becomes a really good play.
02:22And Ekler, it's a concussion.
02:24It was a concussion for him.
02:26And obviously, like we've seen with Tua, once that button—
02:29From experience, once that button gets pushed, it's easier to push it again.
02:34But it's not the same as, like, an ankle injury, where it just—
02:39Like, you can kind of tweak it or whatever.
02:40You can't tweak a concussion.
02:43So, I mean, you probably can.
02:45But you know what I am saying?
02:46Like, it's not as easily re-injured or whatever, right?
02:51Like, everyone can get concussions. It's football.
02:53So, what I'm saying is, if Robinson is out, then Ekler is an amazing pickup.
02:58A couple other guys who I wouldn't mind, like I said before,
03:01Justice Hill for Baltimore is, I think, a good play,
03:04given how close the Baltimore-Cincinnati game projects to be.
03:08I do think there are going to be some drives where Baltimore needs to throw the ball,
03:11and that ain't Derrick Henry's bag.
03:13So, I think Justice Hill is actually going to get a pretty good chunk of the snaps
03:16this week, and thus a pretty good amount of the opportunities.
03:19And like I just said in the Monday Night Game,
03:20I think Samaje P. Ryan has the option, just given the lack of weapons out in Kansas City,
03:26that he is going to get, I think, a few pass-catching options as well.
03:30So, I would probably rank that Ekler, Hill, and then P. Ryan.
03:34But I would maybe, if it does seem like Robinson's going to play,
03:39I would maybe flip Hill and Ekler, just for the situation that I think Baltimore is going to be in.
03:45But I do think Ekler is a pretty good play.
03:47Toxic saying here, Jonathan Taylor officially out.
03:50And so, Toxic, very sneaky during the show,
03:52races out and picks up Trey Sermon in the Vampire League.
03:58And so, Krimney, for you, if Trey Sermon's available in your league,
04:01I think that's a pretty good pickup as well,
04:03going up against a Jacksonville defense that, off the top of my head,
04:06I don't think they're, like, a stalwart against the run, or anything like that.
04:12Like, Houston didn't really get to them a whole lot last week.
04:15Buffalo, I mean, just kicked the shit out of them.
04:17So, they probably ran the ball for half of the game, so you don't get a good read on that one.
04:20I feel like Drumford had an okay game against them, and then Miami's Miami.
04:24So, you don't really have a good sense of that, but I do think that Trey Sermon has a good game.
04:28So, I would maybe put him at the top of the list for those kind of desperation running backs.
04:33Conrad asking, thoughts on Cam Akers as a streamer?
04:37You have Houston going up against the Buffalo Bills.
04:40I, with Joe Mixon out, I think that Cam Akers has an opportunity here.
04:44He is, ah, someone picked up Sermon already, alright, sorry Kermit.
04:48I think, like, Cam Akers is very obviously limited by the injuries that he has had in his career.
04:53He has kind of turned into, coach told me there'd be hole here, so I run through hole here.
04:58And I, he is not getting anything that isn't blocked for him.
05:01The good news is, Buffalo can give up a lot that isn't blocked.
05:05So, I think that he is a good option as a streaming running back.
05:09It seems like running back is the topic du jour this week.
05:12Um, I probably said that wrong.
05:15Either way, when you look at this, now, the running backs that we have discussed here today.
05:21I still think I would put Sermon first, and then, boy, where would I put Akers in that whole thing?
05:29Sermon first, I do think I would probably go Akers second, just on the volume that he would be getting.
05:35And then Hill, and then Eckler, and then Perine.
05:38But again, all of them, I think are varying degrees of pretty good options.
05:42This week.
05:43Um, Sutton, Wandale, Higgins, and Shaheed tossed up on who to start.
05:47Boy, that is an interesting question.
05:49I, like, the Raiders do give up big plays.
05:53We talked about it when we were doing that preview, where there is a play in that game against Cleveland,
06:00where Amari Cooper gets an 80-yard touchdown.
06:04And everyone's celebrating, and it comes back because of a holding call.
06:07Not saying that Denver wouldn't hold or anything like that,
06:10but there are at least those options available for big gains for the Denver Broncos in this game.
06:16Wandale, I think you have to start, given the situation that he is in.
06:20He's the number one wide receiver on his team, and he is the guy that I think can take advantage of
06:26where Seattle is lacking in their secondary.
06:29So I would start Wandale for sure.
06:32He would be my one in that list.
06:35Um, Higgins, I still need to see it a little bit more,
06:38and I think Baltimore is familiar enough with the Bengals that they'll be able to figure that one out.
06:43So I would probably, and then Shaheed, we talked about it,
06:46Kansas City is good at taking away your number one option,
06:48and number two options have kind of thrived against the Chiefs so far this year.
06:52So I think Shaheed actually has a pretty good day.
06:55So I would probably rank those Wandale, Shaheed, Sutton, and Higgins right now.
07:00That would be how I would rank those ones.
07:04It's crazy. Who would have thought?
07:05Probably at the beginning of the year, we would have assumed Higgins would have been the bottom of that list
07:08because of how everything went, but going into training camp,
07:11who would have thought that Higgins would be at the bottom of that particular list?
07:16That's absolutely crazy.
07:18So anyway, should be a fun week.
07:20Thank you guys so much for all the fantasy questions.
