00:58played a decisive role in turning the enemies of Islam.

01:07chose to lead the Muslims in the leadership of Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
01:10in order to gain victory over the Jews in the strong fortresses of Khaibar.

01:44and he was appointed to the post of Qazi-ul-Qazat.
01:47And for the most difficult decisions of the state,
01:50the advice of the Holy Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him,
01:52was given the most importance.
01:55In the religious and administrative affairs of the Islamic state,
02:01the Holy Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him,
02:03was of great help to the Ummah.
02:06In the era of Umar Farooq, may Allah be pleased with him,
02:09for the beginning of the Islamic calendar,
02:12Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
02:15suggested the history of the migration of Madinah
02:18and clarified the importance of the concept of the Ummah and the Islamic state.

02:30After the martyrdom of Sayyidina Uthman-e-Ghani,

02:38and many mischiefs had taken place.
02:41After taking the Bai'at-e-Aam from the Muslims,
02:43when Sayyidina Ali-ul-Murtaza, may Allah be pleased with him,
02:46came to the institution of Khilafat,
02:48he faced all the difficulties with patience and steadfastness
02:53and to keep the system of Khilafat on the path of the Prophet,
02:57he accepted all the challenges with determination and courage.
03:00He, may Allah be pleased with him, made the Quran and Sunnah his guide
03:04and to keep the system of Allah on the land of Allah,
03:09he continued his struggle until his last breath.
03:11Sayyidina Ali-ul-Murtaza, may Allah be pleased with him,
03:15for four years and nine months,
03:17he strived to keep the Ummah united in his era of Khilafat
03:20and for the eradication of mischief.
03:24The era of Khilafat of Sayyidina Ali-ul-Murtaza
03:28was also a time of great mischief.
03:30Sayyidina Ali-ul-Murtaza, may Allah be pleased with him,
03:33in the Battle of Naharwan, suffered a devastating defeat.
03:36But the mischief spread in different parts of the Islamic state
03:40and the mischief-makers were busy.
03:42One of them, Ibn-e-Muljim,
03:45saw Sayyidina Ali-ul-Murtaza praying
03:49and attacked him with a poisoned sword.
03:52Sayyidina Ali-ul-Murtaza was severely injured and fell down.
03:55After being injured for three days,
03:58on the 21st of Ramadan Mubarak,
04:00he attained the rank of Shahadah.
