Internationally renowned artist Bruce Munro has given the thumbs up to some of the RNLI volunteers who spent two weeks helping to install Salcombe's forthcoming Field of Light display.

00:41from drowning or people in trouble in the sea but it's a lot more than that, it stands
00:46actually for community and I think that this is just a very gentle way of reminding everybody
00:54that we need each other and community is important. 1824 is a special number, it's the 200th
01:03anniversary so switch on, it's on 5th October 1824 that we'll celebrate 200 years of our
01:13magnificent RNLI.
