04:32That was a huge round for Mia Motu, that's exactly what you want to come to in a fight.

04:39I think you could see the heads come together a little bit in this fight with how Shannon's
04:46moving and how Motu's pressing forward, I think you could really see a few clashes of
04:50heads in this fight.
04:51Well let's see how Shannon O'Connell has recovered because she took enormous shots.
04:57She was up against the ropes, she couldn't cover up and Motu just poured through with

05:03Ranked number one in the world, Motu said she wasn't looking past this fight with Shannon
05:11O'Connell but clearly she wants to send a statement to the world champion Ellie Scottney
05:17who she was meant to face later this month and now hopes to face at some stage soon and
05:25she is pouring forward again.
05:28O'Connell firing back and picking good shots but there's a lot of power in what Motu is

14:44She is brutal.
14:47What a performance from Mia Motu in a fight she took on 10 days notice against a female boxing legend from this part of the world.
15:00And she loves it.
15:03Smiled all the way to the ring and then got involved in a back and forth war which she won brutally.
15:14And these are the highlights.
15:17What is it she does so well aside from be very strong Mia Motu?
15:20She's definitely very, very strong.
15:22But I really like how she does use her hands to catch punches and then looks to fly her back.
15:27And Shannon was having a real tough time reading that I thought.
15:30So just that use of mixing up her hands and that pressure and then looking to fly her straight down the pipe.
15:36Beautiful stuff to watch.
15:38And credit to O'Connell taking this fight outside her weight division.
15:42And on 10 days notice she's taken damage but she's lost no admirers.
15:49That seems very uncomfortable him just pushing into that swelling there.
15:53Doesn't look nice at all.
15:54And she wanted to continue to.
15:56So props to Shannon.
15:57She's as tough as they come.
15:59But I think that is for the best to call it a day.

16:06And Motu was mentioned she was meant to fight Ellie Scottney for the IBF and WBO world titles in Manchester on the 26th of October.
16:14Scottney pulled out of that fight with injury 10 days ago.
16:17So the next day this was put together.
16:21But Motu does want that shot.
16:23She is number one with the IBF at Super Bantamweights.
16:28And she waits for her shot at the big belt.
16:31She's already got the IBO.
16:33She wants to fight for the major belts, the IBF and the WBO world titles.
16:39And after a performance like that.
16:43That's exactly what she deserves.
16:45An incredible boxing story.
16:48And an amazing boxer to watch as well.
