Kalacakra - album Crawling to Lhasa 1972.

The only album by German band Kalacakra formed by two self-taught musicians. The albumwas borned intheir apartment in Duisburg and completed in just rwo days at Willy Neubauer's studios in Dusseldorf. Kalacakra refers to on of the main dieties of Buddhism and means "The wheel of time", but also refers to the Kalacakra Tantra a more complex form of esoteric meditation. The music is channeled to American native dances, medieval nightmares, to the moon phases, where folk and blues dialogue with Oriental rants and psychedelia in the style of Popol Vuh and Third Ear Band.
