00:00Sheila Guo faced the hearing of her deportation case earlier

00:04where she compared her current appearance to the pictures on her passports.

00:16It was past 8 in the morning when the hearing of the Board of Special Inquiry of the Bureau of Immigration

00:22on Sheila Guo's deportation case, also known as Zangnir, started.

00:27Sheila was closely watched by the NBI personnel when she personally attended the hearing.

00:32Officials from the Philippine Statistics Authority and the DFA were also there.

00:36As a Filipino citizen, the B.I. filed a misrepresentation against Sheila

00:41because of two passports obtained from her, a Filipino passport and three Chinese passports.

00:47During the proceedings, a picture was presented

00:51where Sheila can be seen sitting with another B.I.

00:55I asked Sheila Guo, she denied receiving the notice and signing it.

01:02She said she didn't know, maybe she was just stressed,

01:04but I put it on the screen, she signed it, she signed it.

01:09In front of my serving officer, the former officer, she signed it and signed it.

01:15All of these things, the documents, fingerprints, pictures,

01:22are in our jurisdiction to use.

01:25At one point in the hearing, Sheila was shown a picture from her passports.

02:05According to the B.I., it is also possible that Sheila's son, Alice Guo,

02:10was involved in an alleged deportation case in the middle of questioning her Filipino identity.

02:15But according to the B.I., if it is proven that there is an allegation of a local case here in the Philippines,

02:20the court will have to issue a judgment before the deportation can be carried out.

02:25What is so important about the case of Ms. Sheila Guo is this is a precedent-setting case, precedent.

02:33There are a lot of cases like this.

02:35So it can be on the basis of our procedures, on the basis of our exchanges,

02:40this is also what we will do in the future. We will not delay it any longer.

02:45While the B.I. was on his way to leave, we tried to get a statement from Sheila, but she did not speak.
