00:00In Bulacan, four men were killed after a chemical bomb exploded while inside a fish factory.

00:08Three of them were hoping to help a worker who was seen unconscious.

00:13Jomer Apresto was on the scene.

00:18The four workers who were at the fish factory in Barangay Panghulo, or Bando, Bulacan,

00:26The victims were sitting inside a fermentation pool.

00:30According to the police, one of the victims was cleaned by the owner.

00:35But one of the workers was surprised to see that the victim was unconscious while under the fermentation pool.

00:43He asked for help from his colleagues who were working there.

00:47Then, three of them immediately helped him to breathe.

00:53Until they couldn't breathe anymore.

00:55The four victims were said to have suffocated after a chemical bomb exploded from inside.

01:02When the BFP tried to retrieve them, they were still able to breathe.

01:09They used a breathing apparatus to bring them down.

01:15Two of the victims were compound caretakers, while the other two were construction workers working at a nearby gym.

01:22According to the investigation, the factory has not been operating for four years.

01:27That's why the families of the victims are now thinking about why the fermentation pool needs to be cleaned.

01:33This is the compound gate of the fish factory where the four workers died after suffocating in one of the fermentation pools.

01:43From that gate to where I'm walking, the smell is still there.

01:49The police is still investigating if the factory is really non-operational.

01:54The owner is also aware of the possible responsibility, especially since there are no safety gears for the victims.

02:00The three of them are only wearing rubber gloves.

02:03According to the son of one of the working workers,

02:06they have already signed a waiver that they will not have the victims' bodies autopsied.

02:11The police said that the owner will also pay the expenses for the burial and burial of their relatives.

02:17But the sons are still studying if they will file a complaint.
