00:03:36For better or worse, he is a professional wrestler,
00:03:39but he's primarily been a manager most of the last year.
00:03:41And I'll tell you what, man, they're going against the Six-Man Tag Team
00:03:44Champions, and so this is not an easy feat.

00:03:47This is a match for them to get the opportunity,
00:03:49so they're the underdogs in this match.

00:37:41but a titanic clash.
00:37:44One of the greatest matches of all time.
00:37:47Samoa Joe enters
00:37:51in New York City at the Grand Ballroom
00:37:54at the New Yorker Hotel Caprice.
00:37:56And by this point, Joe has already had
00:37:58his record-setting Ring of Honor World Championship reign
00:38:03that has only recently been eclipsed by Athena.
00:38:08You go back in time here, Rick Abane,
00:38:10I remember watching Ring of Honor
00:38:13and seeing these stars come up.
00:38:15Guys, you never heard of, but they were doing a style
00:38:18that people fell in love with,
00:38:20that we would trade in videotapes
00:38:21to see these guys from Japan fight each other.
00:38:25And now they're coming to America
00:38:26to fight these stars that we've learned to love,
00:38:29that teenagers and men will come
00:38:31and pan all across the world to come watch.
00:38:34Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and likewise,
00:38:38Bryan Danielson, to make a name for themselves.
00:38:42And these Japan stars found out about it.
00:38:45It came to America's soul.
00:38:47And in the ring with Samoa Joe,

00:50:20of the veteran, realizing how much of a fight he's in.

00:50:28And one person I don't envy is Todd Sinclair,
00:50:32who has to make sense of this, try and essentially
00:50:36not anger the fans.
00:50:37The fans are there to see this match.
00:50:39He's had an opportunity to maybe throw this out for count
00:50:41out of disqualification.
00:50:43But he knows that he is not the focal point of this match,
00:50:46that the fans want to see a winner.
00:50:48A riot would break out if Todd Sinclair ended the match
00:50:53on something like that.
00:50:56And now, Kabashi, who controls the pace so well,
00:51:00putting all of his body weight on the neck of Samoa Joe
00:51:02and his front face lock.
00:51:04Veteran move here, trying to wear down your opponent,
00:51:07put your body weight on there.
00:51:11And everything is so deliberate and precise and perfect
00:51:14from Kabashi.
00:51:16It's got to be going through Joe's head right now.
