00:00So, as ever, it has been a very busy week in the city of Bristol. So, Charlie, can you
00:05tell me what is our first top news story in the city this week?
00:10Our top story this week is that a huge new bargain food store is set to open in Speedwell.
00:19So this is the bargain brand Foods Warehouse, which was previously based at Avonmouth for
00:25a short spill last year, but they announced earlier that they will be reopening at a new
00:31location just in time for Christmas.
00:35Thank you, Charlie. So that is a great one for a Bristol business. So shall we move on
00:39to our second top news story in the city this week? Tell me about that.
00:45Next is that a developer plans to build 91 new homes on the site of a soon-to-be demolished
00:54derelict factory in Bristol. So the proposals which have now gone live are for the eyesore
01:01building on Bath Road in Brislington, which has been out of use for many years now. And
01:09the plans show that the developer wants to build 81 apartments in 10 houses and demolition
01:16is set to start soon. They say all the homes will be affordable through a mix of social
01:24rent and shared ownership.
01:27Thank you, Charlie. So we will see how that eyesore on Bath Road pans out in the future.
01:33So shall we move on to our third and final top news story in the city this week? Tell
01:38me about that.
01:40Finally is that a new museum for Clifton Suspension Bridge is being launched in the city. So the
01:48existing visitor centre on the Leawoods side of the bridge is being rebranded to Clifton
01:56Suspension Bridge Museum.
