00:19Alinia, who is in the running tonight?
00:20Hi, Jeremy.
00:21A lot of NRL and NRLW stars are here tonight to celebrate the Dally M's.
00:28For those of you who are unfamiliar how it works, throughout the season, two judges
00:32will vote for each game throughout the season and they will give three points to their best
00:36on field, two points for the second best and one point for their third overall best player.
00:41And at the end of the season, the player with the most points wins the Dally M.
00:45Now before the voting went behind closed doors after round 12 for the men's game, Dylan Edwards
00:52from the Penrith Panthers was at the top.
00:55But since then, Jerome Hughes has had an outstanding season and if you listen to any of the chatter

01:03A lot of people are saying heavy favourite, I don't know how they would know that, but
01:07yeah I'm excited for the night.
01:10Obviously they put on a great night so I'm keen to just enjoy it and whatever comes,
01:15comes I guess.
01:16For the women, Isabel Kelly of the Sydney Roosters is the heavy favourite to take it
01:21out after a stellar season that cultivated in her playing in the grand final on Sunday.
01:26So we're really looking forward to seeing who's going to win it.
