00:00How are you? Good to see you.
00:01Hey, how are you doing?
00:02OK, so what did you get to sing with Gaga on set, on camera or off camera?
00:08Oh, most of what she sings that are my songs.
00:13I want to make that clear.
00:14Start singing. Give me some.
00:16Come on, what can we sing together?
00:18What would you sing?
00:19What would you sing?
00:20No, no, no. We couldn't release that.
00:22There'd be copyright issues.
00:26I feel like you're a secret singer, no?
00:28Sometimes. Yeah, secret singer.
00:30Yeah. You know what that means?
00:32Secret. In the shower.
00:35What was it like your first day shooting with Stephanie?
00:40It was great. She came in.
00:41We were first thing I had to figure out was, what do I call you?
00:45And that was how you figure it out.
00:46What did you do? She told me, Stephanie.
00:48And so I said, OK, I said, what do I call you?
00:50She said, Steph, that's good.
00:52And so we got down to it.
00:54And it was very clear how serious she was about what,
00:56you know, the whole approach to the thing.
00:58There was no there were no nothing.
00:59There's nothing in the way.
01:01Now we got down to it pretty quickly. It was great.
01:03I really I really admired the intensity with which she was going at this stuff.
01:08And she had to re-find a voice, which was interesting
01:11because because of her musical voice is different to Gaga.
01:15Right. So she because the character was not that person.
01:18So that whole kind of dynamic between that.
01:21And it's such an interesting part of the whole thing about fame
01:25and notoriety and how much we need it and how,
01:28you know, how that impinges on us and how it messes us up and all that stuff.
01:33So what would you want to be as famous as Lady Gaga?
01:36No. Frankly, no.
01:40Let's talk Spider-Man noir.
01:42Yeah. Villain.
01:44Like I like a really like like gruesome, like violent.
01:47What do you got?
01:48I think of myself more as a philosopher.
01:51So evil mind mind thing.
01:54No, no, I think he has it.
01:56He has a kind of a drone eye view of things
02:00and he can be equally dangerous.
02:02You've spoken to Nicolas Cage.
02:04Yes, I have. Yeah. Yeah.
02:05Tell me about what's it like chatting with Nicolas Cage
02:08about being in a series with Nicolas Cage?
02:11Well, it was brief because it was at a reading and we didn't have very long.
02:14But it was nice.
02:15It was kind of it was enough to say, oh, yeah, that's who I thought it would be.
02:20He's great. He's really great.
02:21And I can't yeah, I can't wait to get we only I've shot one thing,
02:25but it wasn't a scene with him yet.
02:27So that is all to come.
02:28So I'm looking forward to it.
02:30And Maggie Smith, what will you remember most?
02:32What is that moment?
02:33Well, my my moment was an afternoon in Oxford
02:37where we were shooting in Oxford and she was remembering all the people
02:40that she had. She had been in the players there
02:43and the people who are past where she was feeling quite.
02:48It was a very poignant afternoon, but she was very sweet, very funny.
02:52And yeah, I just thought she was absolutely lovely.
02:56And of course, she terrifies everybody.
02:58But there was there was a real beating heart behind it that was unmistakable.
03:03Thank you, sir. Thank you so much.
