This is footage from an ODI match being played in 2000. You might be wondering, If it's an ODI, why is everyone dressed in white clothes, and why are they playing with a red ball? Well, cricket was mostly played in whites until 1977, when Kerry Packer introduced coloured kits to cricket. After some time, coloured clothing became a regular thing in ODI cricket. Still, up until 2000, the ODI matches played during Daytime were played in whites, and Day/Night matches were played in colours. The 5th Ind vs Zim ODI in Rajkot on 14 December 2000 was the last ODI played in whites. And guess what? Ajit Agarkar scored the fastest ODI fifty by an Indian in this match.
