00:00Ladies and gentlemen, for the presentation of the Vincent J. McMahon Sr. Legacy of Excellence
00:23Award, please welcome the WWE Chairman of the Board, Vincent Kennedy McMahon!
00:31Hashtag, Legacy of Excellence. And what an important evening for Mr. McMahon as he honors
00:38John, his late, late father, Vincent J. McMahon. What an incredible feeling, what a proud moment
00:43Mr. McMahon has to have, given this award, most prestigious award ever given in sports
00:47entertainment, named apropos after his father. I've heard some rumors guys, some of the names
00:54floating around, you won't believe. Not going to have to wait, we're going to find out right
00:59now.
01:00Well, tonight will be a night that you will never, ever forget. Because tonight, we present
01:19the first ever Vincent J. McMahon Award. The Legacy of Excellence Award. You want to
01:31want this award, it's just too special. If I may, let me speak about my, my family as
01:39to why this is being presented here tonight, and how we got here. For over a hundred years,
01:45my family has been presenting sports entertainment. Started with my grandfather back in 1914,
01:54on to my dad, who unquestionably was one of the all-time greats, a legend. And my dad
01:59promoted in Northeast Territory, as it was known, and was honored in Madison Square Garden,
02:05and was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 1984. So what we're talking about here is legacy.
02:16My dad was a very, well he had a cunning business mind, but he was very kind. He had a really
02:25warm heart. He was very, a very generous person. So the person we honor tonight has those qualities.
02:33Not only a great business acumen, but is truly a warm, good-hearted soul. And thus,
02:42it is my pleasure to introduce to you the recipient of the Vincent James McMahon Legacy
02:48of Excellence Award to Stephanie McMahon! Awesome! I wasn't expecting this. Who else
03:04would you expect? It's a legacy award, the greatest award ever given in the history of
03:09sports entertainment. Who else could it go to but Stephanie McMahon? Now Stephanie is
03:16one of the principal owners of WWE, of course the daughter of that man, Mr. McMahon. Many
03:26people say Stephanie has many of Mr. McMahon's traits. Apparently a warm, good-hearted soul,
03:32too. A hundred years of sports entertainment, and Stephanie McMahon is carrying the banner
03:40into a fourth generation. What a great moment. Stephanie is flying. There's no one in the
03:55world, no one in the world that deserves this award as much as you. I am so proud of you,
04:04Stephanie. You were born into this business. You again exemplify all of the attributes
04:12of my dad, such a wonderful human being. Congratulations. Thank you, Dad. I just, I don't know what
04:24to say. I mean, these people are all so supportive of me winning this award, and I mean, it's
04:32unexpected. It is our family's legacy, and I do just have a few prepared remarks. I didn't
04:39expect to win, but I did just prepare something just in case. But before I do, I think it's
04:45important that I acknowledge my teammate, my partner in life, and that is the WWE World
04:53Heavyweight Champion, Triple H, who at this very moment is getting ready to defend his
05:01championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. If I may.
05:23Oh my God. It must be a celebration. Shane O'Mac is here. No way. How cool is this?
05:41Shane O'Mac coming out to support his sister, Stephanie O'Mac. Is this really happening?
05:48Oh, it's happening. Stephanie and Mr. McMahon. They're as surprised as we are that Shane's
05:55here. Shane must have come in on his own unbeknownst to Vince and Stephanie, and Shane's coming
06:03out to surprise him to support the family. This is an incredible moment. Mr. McMahon
06:10and his daughter and son in the center of the ring. Live on Monday Night Raw.
06:17I cannot believe this.
06:47I don't know where they go, where they going.
06:49The meat came out on Monday smelling just like the meat.

10:47M oment. This is my moment. That is my legacy. Yes. That is my legacy Shane.
11:00All due respects, you haven't earned it. What would you know about earning anything Shane?
11:10You haven't even been here the past 6 or 7 years. It's real convenient to watch from
11:15and say what you would do with business, okay?
11:19Let me tell you something, my husband and I
11:22have been successfully running a billion-dollar business
11:26with our blood, sweat, and tears,
11:29whether these people appreciate it or not.
11:33Before I address that, she doesn't know, does she?
11:48You don't know. You don't know.
11:57Well, let me tell you this, Stephanie.
12:00Let's just say you and your husband, Triple H,
12:04have been really running this company into the ground.
12:11Let's take a few indicators.
12:13Let's look at the stock. Let's look at ratings.
12:16Let's look at the plethora of talent injuries
12:19all under your watch, under your auspices,
12:22down into the ground.
12:27Great job.
12:32You're saying this in front of this packed house
12:34here in Detroit, right?
12:36Okay, because you don't know what it means to be a success.
12:41Shane, how would you?
12:42You're nothing more than a quitter.
12:47Now get the hell out of my ring.
12:57Number one, it's your father's ring.
13:05And let me, since you don't actually understand
13:08what's going on here, do you want to tell her
13:11or do you want me to?
13:13I don't think it's the time or the place.
13:15We don't have to get into all the gory details,
13:17but this is definitely the time and this is definitely the place.
13:20Let's get this out here. What is it?
13:25Several years ago, your father messed up big time.
13:29Huge.
13:30And who was there to save the day?
13:33Me.
13:36So this is what happened, because you don't know.
13:40Your father and I, we cut ourselves a little deal.
13:44And in that deal, I was able to do lots of things
13:48that I wanted to do.
13:49I was able to take some time off.
13:51I was able to build some businesses.
13:53But one thing's for sure, Stephanie,
13:55I never lost my place in line.
14:00This is absolutely ridiculous.
14:01Nothing happens in WWE's business that I don't know.
14:05Oh, well, actually, I understand this is a tough pill
14:07for you to swallow, and believe me, it's a tough spot.
14:09But you don't know what you don't know.
14:12But know this.
14:13The reason you've been able to climb so high thus far
14:16is because I let it happen.
14:21Preposterous dad.
14:23Tell me this isn't true.
14:25There's no way that this is true.
14:27None of it.
14:38Let me have a word with Shane, all right?
14:41Just let me have a word with Shane.
14:42You know what?
14:44This is absolutely insane, okay?
14:46We have a little something called WrestleMania coming up.
14:50So, Shane, if you feel like showing up this year,
14:53then maybe I'll get you a ticket.
14:55It won't exactly be ringside, but, you know,
14:57I'll do my best.
15:01So, on that note, thank you.
15:04I want to have a word with Shane, okay?
15:06You and I will talk later.
15:08We'll have our conversation later on.
15:11Is it true?
15:13We'll have a conversation later on.
15:15Is it true, dad?
15:16We're going to have a conversation.
15:17Is this true?
15:19And the award will be presented to you backstage.
15:28Is it true?
15:31There's some truth to it, okay?
15:33But we need to talk about...
15:35Get your...
15:37It's all true.
15:40You know what it was, Stephanie?
15:43At the time, it was best for business.
15:54Let me hold the ropes for you.
15:57Bye-bye.
16:00I will never forgive you for this.
16:05I will never forgive you for this.
16:29All right, so what's this all about?
16:31Okay?
16:32Come on, what's it all about?
16:33I'll take out my checkbook.
16:35I'll take out my checkbook.
16:36I'll write another check to you, okay?
16:39Just another one.
16:40That's what you want.
16:41You want your cash.
16:42You got it.
16:43Name your price.
16:45Any price, huh?
16:47You got it.
16:48This isn't about money.
16:50It was never about money.
16:52I left a lot of money on the table
16:54just to get out from underneath you.
16:57Sometimes I wake up in the morning,
16:58and I say, boy, what a doofus.
17:00But actually, when I look in the mirror,
17:02I quickly come to a very calming sense
17:04that I am not beholden to you anymore.
17:07I have freedom.
17:09What this is about is this.
17:11This is about legacy.
17:13Legacy.
17:15Your grandfather, your dad,
17:19you being third generation,
17:21me being fourth generation,
17:23Marissa and I creating the fifth generation
17:26with three boys at home,
17:28Declan, Kenyon, and Rogan.
17:33Three.
17:35And I want this business to be around
17:39for the fifth generation,
17:41and the sixth, and the seventh,
17:42and so on and so forth.
17:46And the way it's heading,
17:47it's not going that way.
17:50So what do you really want?
17:52If it's not about money, come on, Shane.
17:54Oh, what is it, huh?
17:57Simple.
17:59I want control of Monday Night Raw.
18:16Oh, wow, that's a good one.
18:20That's all you want,
18:21just control over Monday Night Raw.
18:23I mean, how Monday Night Raw goes,
18:24the entire company goes,
18:26and all the employees,
18:27and everything with it, Shane.
18:28You have to understand that
18:29if you were controlling Monday Night Raw,
18:31you would be controlling the entire company.
18:34Exactly.
18:36Things have changed.
18:38This is a public company now, Shane.
18:40You just can't step right in here
18:42and pick right up where you left off.
18:45Can't do it.
18:46Once again, things have changed,
18:48but not for the better.
18:49I am out here to once again
18:51make sure that there is, again,
18:54generational, generational...
18:58I know what you're doing.
18:59You're out here, you're itching for a fight.
19:01You came out here, that's all you want.
19:03You came out here to embarrass Stephanie.
19:05You came out here to embarrass me.
19:07That's all.
19:08And you people,
19:09you want Shane McMahon to run Monday Night Raw.
19:14You have no idea what you're asking for.
19:18You have no idea, not a clue.
19:22Yeah.
19:23So I'll tell you what.
19:27I'll make you a little deal, is what I'll do.
19:30Well, not a little deal.
19:31It'll be a real big one.
19:33I'll give you what you want.
19:34How's that?
19:39What's the catch?
19:40Well, there's not really a catch.
19:41I'll give you what you want
19:43as long as you have one match, one night.
19:52Hey.
19:53And you win your match, you get your wish.
19:58If you don't win your match,
20:00then I get what I want,
20:02and I want the key to that lockbox you've got, okay?
20:05And I want everything out of it in my possession.
20:08So you will not hold anything over my head ever again.
20:12So what about it?
20:14One match, one night,
20:16an opponent of my choosing,
20:18I'll tell you where and when and who.
20:20So what about it, Shano?
20:22Everybody's happy to see Shano Mack!
20:36One match, one night.
20:50You still got it!
20:55You still got it!
20:58You still got it!
21:01You still got it!
21:05You still got it!
21:07You still got it.
21:09You got a deal, or we don't have a deal?
21:11You still got it!
21:13Well, this certainly won't be my first deal with the devil.
21:16You got a deal.
21:18Well, before you leave, just how strong are you, Shane Oakles?
21:25I'm going to name a place, I'm going to name an opponent almost as big as your ego.
21:32Not quite, almost as big.
21:36And the place and the time is going to be WrestleMania.
21:45And your opponent is going to be The Undertaker.
21:59Oh, by the way, just so you can't take your ball and run home like you have before, this
22:17match will be in hell in a sec.
22:26Welcome back, Shane Oakles.
22:27Oh my goodness.
22:28Shane McMahon said he was going to make one last deal with the devil and did he ever.
22:29Goal of the company hangs in the balance.
22:30Against The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
22:31Inside hell in a sec.
22:33I love you.
22:34I love you, too.
22:36I love you, baby.
22:39Thank you for being here.
22:42Yes, sir.
22:43Thank you, baby.
22:45Thank you, Christina.
22:47Yes, sir.
22:49Yes, sir.
22:50Thank you, too, Christina.
22:53That was good.
22:55That was good, baby.
22:57Thank you, Christina.
