00:00So, what made you want to coach and mentor?
00:07From all my friends, we all share the same struggle.
00:09I believe that Singapore is no longer cheap, the inflation and our paycheck just doesn't
00:14tally anymore.
00:15So, from the knowledge that I acquired, that I'm blessed with, I decided to coach and mentor
00:20all my friends.
00:21How much do you charge for this mentoring program?
00:24I don't charge.
00:25It's free.
00:26Why free?
00:28Because I'm a strong believer of when I am blessed with certain things, for example,
00:33knowledge.
00:34And it is my responsibility to share with other people.
00:36And when I share, I find contentment in doing whatever that I share, the knowledge that
00:41I share.
00:42And when I execute whatever that I've created, on top of my sharing, I feel calm, I feel
00:49peace.
00:50And that is where I feel that I can manage my trades better.
00:54Speaking to all of my friends out there, they have shared with me certain challenges
00:59in life, certain struggles in life.
01:01And I feel that since I'm blessed with this, I should just share with them, no charge.
01:05So, what was the most frustrating moment you've had?
01:09The most frustrating moment would definitely be a bunch of them who never put their stop
01:14loss.
01:15Who still don't know how to manage their losses, they don't know how to manage their risk management.
01:22That frustrates me a lot because we are in the same game, we are in the same module,
01:26we all went through the same thing over and over again.
01:29But to a point of time, I feel that why aren't you managing your losses?
01:33You're doing good, you know what to do.
01:35You came in zero and today you know how to trade and yet you don't want to manage your
01:39risk.
01:40And that frustrates me a lot.
01:41And what's the most memorable moment you've had?
01:44I would definitely say I have one of them.
01:47So he shared with me after he went for a medical checkup.
01:51And he was telling me that, bro, the doctor said so and so and so on.
01:55I want to thank you for sharing this knowledge with me and I'll do my best.
01:59On top of that, I want you to teach my son also.
02:01In case anything happens to me, I know that you have imparted this knowledge on him and
02:05he can take on from then on and not be so dependent on any other things.
02:11And he wanted me to do that.
02:12And that was the most memorable and most touching moment and I will always hold on to that promise.
02:17So what's the end goal of August?
02:19The end game for this community that we had already built is to form our own financial
02:26ecosystem.
02:27It's by the people, for the people.
02:29That we no longer have to depend on banks where they have interest and we don't have
02:34to depend on other financial institutions.
02:37We are just dependent internally on our own financial ecosystem.
02:42That we can build things together, we can start things together and we can even help
02:46others out there.
02:47So that's the end goal.
02:48To form a community with our own financial ecosystem.
