00:04maxing out, doing my thing, listen to a little bit of music. All right.

00:08In today's video, we are going to be talking about white hat hackers.

00:12I made a video talking about black hat hackers and how dangerous they are.

00:17So now we're going to talk about the other spectrum, white hat hackers.

00:22For one, what is the difference between a white hat and a black hat?

00:26White hat hacks with permission.

00:28I get full permission to hack whatever I want to black hat.

00:32I'm a hack stuff and I don't care what nobody says. I'm a hacks up to steal,

00:36kill, lie, cheat, cause harm and get money.

00:41That's the difference between a black hat and a white hat.

00:44Black hats and white hats are two sides of the same coin.

00:48We use the same techniques. We're all alike.

00:51We use the same techniques. It's just for different purposes.

00:54I E somebody with a rifle could be an assassin.

00:58They could be a gun owner regularly, or they could be an instructor,

01:02or they could be a cop.

01:04Depending on what the purpose you are intending to do,

01:09that's determines what hat you are. It really doesn't matter. The tools,

01:13it's the purpose. So with white hat hackers,

01:16I know the first question you're going to ask, well,

01:19how do they actually make money? Well,

01:21there is a lot of ways that a white hat hackers can actually make money.

01:25So here's the example websites like bug crowded hacker one,

01:29there's a ton of companies on there that actually give us permission to go in

01:33there and hack them. I've hacked chase. I've hacked a red tube. Um,

01:37I had capital one. I've hacked a lot of different places.

01:40They give me permission to do it.

01:41My teachers even told me you can make just as much money the bad way as you

01:46can the right way. The only difference is, you know, you're getting permission.

01:51Honestly. See, that's what I'm saying.

01:53So you're talking about being a white hat hacker.

01:56We have companies that contact companies saying that, Hey,

01:59we need our stuff hacked. Reason being,

02:01you rather have a white hat hack it than a black hat.

02:04Cause a black hat hacks it. Then you're financially responsible.

02:07You lose millions of dollars. You have lawsuits, data leaks,

02:10all types of chaos. But let's say a white hat finds it.

02:13Then they'll pay us like a thousand, 2000, 3000, 4000,

02:17sometimes even a million dollars. Sometimes a hundred thousand dollars.

02:21They pay us a lot of money. So they pay us all this money.

02:24And that way we get themselves.

02:25So the black hat hackers can't use it for their own gain and destroy them.

02:29That's the difference between white hat hackers and black hat hackers.

02:33So being a black hat hacker or white hat doesn't matter.

02:36If you went to school, your walks of life doesn't matter.

02:39You chose to become a black hat hacker.

02:42You chose to become a white hat hacker for whatever reason,

02:45literally for whatever reason. Now white hat hackers, of course,

02:50we have full-time jobs. We can work as a security consultants.

02:54We can work as tier three. We can work as network engineers.

02:58See hackers understand data to the core of it.

03:01Like I can tell you how data breaks down and builds back up and reassembles on

03:05the other end. So pretty much that enables me to get jobs like that. But yeah,

03:10we get jobs in the military as well. We get jobs in the Navy. Um,

03:14a lot of times we can get jobs with the FBI, but I'm not gonna lie.

03:18Those are black hat hackers that are turned white hat because it was like,

03:22you know, they hacked the military, you know, made the Navy,

03:24they bitch or made the army their bitch.

03:26And of course the government was butthurt about it.

03:29So they told them your ass is either going to go to jail or you can show us

03:34how you did it. Cause we're not smart enough to figure it out.

03:37And a lot of times people take it, Hey, you know,

03:40I'll take telling you how I did it. So I don't spend 50 years in jail.

03:44That is what a white hat hacker entails and the differences that it has.
