00:00And I also have a very good relationship, as you know, with President Putin.
00:03I really think we're going to get into trouble.
00:05I hope we have more good relations.
00:07We're going to have a lot.
00:15Well, thank you very much. It's an honor to have the President with us.
00:19And he's been through a lot.
00:22He's been through a tremendous amount, like probably nobody else,
00:27almost nobody else in history, if you really get right down to it.
00:30And we're going to have a discussion and see what we can come up with.
00:34But it's a great honor to have you with us.
00:36Thank you very much.
00:38Thank you so much, Mr. President.
00:40Thank you so much for this meeting.
00:42Five years passed.
00:44We had a meeting, again, here in New York in September.
00:49And now there are a lot of churches in Ukraine and the United States.
00:55And, of course, I want to discuss with you, I think, where we are together,
01:00I think we have a common view that the war in Ukraine has to be stopped.
01:05And Putin can't win.
01:07The Ukrainians have to prevail.
01:09And I want to discuss with you the details of our plan of victory.
01:12Thank you very much, Eric.
01:15Thank you very much.
01:16Do you have a question for the President?
01:18Why did you decide to meet?
01:20Okay, thank you so much.
01:23I think it's very important to share all the plans, all our steps,
01:28how we can strengthen Ukraine.
01:30And, of course, we have to decide it now.
01:33Because after November, we don't know who will be the President.
01:38But we understand that until November, we can't stop Putin.
01:42We have to do it.
01:44We will try on the battlefield with our heroic soldiers.
01:47We understand that after November, we have to decide.
01:51And we hope that the strength of the United States will be very strong.
01:56And we count on it.
01:58That's why I decided to meet with both candidates with all honor.
02:03So, what are your expectations about this meeting?
02:05What do you expect to hear from the President?
02:07What are your expectations?
02:09Say it a little louder, please.
02:11What are your expectations from this meeting?
02:13What do you expect to hear from him?
02:15Nothing.
02:16Look, this is a meeting.
02:18We have a big race going on right now.
02:20I guess 37 days left.
02:22And we're leading in the polls.
02:24So, we'll see how it all works out.
02:26Hopefully, it'll work out.
02:27But if it doesn't, we're going to have to work very much with both parties
02:31to try and get this settled and get it worked out.
02:35It has to end.
02:37At some point, it has to end.
02:38He's gone through hell.
02:39This country has gone through hell like few countries have ever.
02:43Like it's happened anywhere.
02:45Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
02:47Terrible situation.
02:48And I will say I have had a great relationship.
02:51It was very honorable.
02:52I don't even know if you know this, but when they did the impeachment hoax,
02:57it was a hoax, just a Democrat hoax, which we won.
03:01But one of the reasons we won it so easily is that when the President was asked,
03:05it was over a phone call with the President, and he said he could have grandstanded
03:11and played cute, but he didn't do that.
03:14President Trump did absolutely nothing wrong.
03:17He said it loud and clear.
03:19And the impeachment hoax died right there.
03:22He could have said, well, I don't know.
03:24I don't know.
03:25And I never even told you this, to be honest.
03:28But it was like a piece of steel.
03:32He said, President Trump did nothing wrong.
03:36We had a very nice call.
03:38He congratulated me on his victory.
03:41He just won.
03:42And I remember that.
03:45I remember that.
03:46He could have played cute, and he didn't play cute.
03:48So I appreciated that.
03:50So we have a very good relationship, and I also have a very good relationship,
03:54as you know, with President Putin.
03:56And I think if we win, I think we're going to get it resolved very quickly.
04:00I really think we're going to get it resolved.
04:02I hope we have more good relations.
04:05Oh, I see.
04:08But, you know, it takes two to tango, you know.
04:10We're going to have a good meeting today.
04:14And I think the fact that we're even together today is a very good sign,
04:18and hopefully we'll have a good victory because the other side wins.
04:23I don't think you're going to have victories with anything, to be honest with you.
04:26So we're going to sit down and just discuss it.
04:28And if we have a win, I think long before January 20th,
04:34before I would take the presidency, it's January 20th, but long before that,
04:39I think that we can work out something that's good for both sides.
04:44It's time.
04:45And, by the way, the President knows that too.
04:47He wants to get something done.
04:49He doesn't want to do this.
04:51And so we look forward to having a meeting.
04:54I look forward to being with him.
04:55But what I said is true.
04:57He was a piece of steel.
05:01He gave a very honest, straight answer.
05:04And that really ended, essentially ended the impeachment hoax.
05:09And I appreciated that.
05:12Thank you very much, everybody.
05:14Thank you, President.
