Taiwan's Premier Tries To Offset 2025 Budget Impasse

Taiwan's premier is meeting with the KMT head of the legislature to try to break an impasse over next year's budget. If it's not passed, it will put at risk salary increases for civil servants and the military—as well as Taiwan's plan to build new submarines to help resist a Chinese invasion.
