00:00Carrying an aura of cuteness like no other baby pygmy hippopotamus,
00:05two-month-old Moo-Deng is drawing in more traffic to Thailand's Khao Khao Open Zoo than ever before.
00:12Moo-Deng, Thai for bouncing pig, catapulted to fame when videos of the bouncy bovine went viral on social media earlier this month.
00:21Many of the videos were filmed by her keeper, Atthaphan Nundi, who captured some of their interactions.
00:31Moo-Deng's fame has grown way beyond the walls of her enclosure, inspiring artwork and confectionary creations by die-hard fans.
00:45According to the zoo's director, Narungwit Chodchoi, the zoo is currently seeing 4,000 to 5,000 visitors per weekday,
00:53in contrast to the usually modest number of around 800 at this time of year.
00:58And for weekends, they're getting around 10,000 per day, as opposed to the usual 5,000.
01:13The pink-cheeked baby hippo was born with two other siblings, the Thai names of which translate to pork stew and sweet pork.
01:21She is also the granddaughter of 59-year-old female hippo Mali, who just celebrated her birthday at the zoo and is Thailand's oldest hippo in captivity.
