Pope Francis Presented With Statue of Taoist Sea Goddess Mazu

A group from the Beigang Chaotian Temple in Taiwan has presented a gold statue of the Taoist sea goddess Mazu to Pope Francis at the Vatican, hoping the effigy will serve as a bridge between Christianity and Taoism.
