00:00Later on here tonight in this program hopefully we'll have answers to the
00:05burning question. The burning question around the world is why did Bret Hart do
00:08what he did and whose side is Bret Hart on when me and Gene will talk to Bret
00:12Hart later on in this program. Tony I was flashing back on when Bret Hart first
00:15arrived on the scene here and the questions whether he was associated with
00:19World Championship Wrestling or the NWO and and Bret promised to everyone that
00:24he stood for tradition. The second-generation wrestler he was going
00:27to be there to back up everyone associated with WCW until obviously he
00:32stabbed the macho man Randy Savage in the back. We'll see when we hear from
00:35Bret Hart later on this program. Now I'm going to show you some of the footage we
00:38saw once again for this past Wednesday on Thunder the injury to Buff Bagwell.
00:42Here's the update that we have. Now once again you need to take a very close look
00:45at this because certainly these young men come out each and every night and
00:49put their lives on the line and Buff Bagwell when he hit at that time could
00:54not move. Basically he was paralyzed at that time. He underwent surgery this
00:58evening in Atlanta Georgia neck surgery and we do not have an update on his
01:04condition out of the surgery. Do you understand he pulled okay through the
01:07surgery? We do understand though that tomorrow night when we take there in a
01:11special edition of WCW Monday Nitro at 6 p.m. Eastern Time right here on TNT that
01:17will have an update on his condition and I bring we both have had neck surgeries.
01:20That was a scary thing to happen to Buff Bagwell even though he's a member of the
01:23NWO. Our thoughts and our prayers are with him and his family. Well it's hard
01:27to imagine what he went through. I know the surgery I went through and you went
01:30through and the pain we had but we had no paralysis. We didn't think we were
01:34going to lose our use of our legs or our arms or or anything like that. I don't
01:39know what could be going through that young man's mind right now. It's got to
01:42be pure terror. Well to be very honest with you we have been told during the
01:46course of the program on Wednesday that Buff Bagwell could not move. He could not
01:50move his legs but I didn't want to bring that to you the fans nor to his
01:53family watching our program until we had a further update. But the good news
01:57was that during the course of the evening after the injury he started to
02:01get some movement back and he started to move and he was okay. But obviously a
02:04severe neck injury to Buff Bagwell. He had surgery today in Atlanta and we'll
02:09have an update on the condition of Buff Bagwell post-surgery tomorrow night
02:14beginning at 6 o'clock right here on WCW Monday Nitro. Take a special look at a
02:18very angry macho man Randy Savage from last week. Back on the special edition of
02:24WCW Monday Nitro following the NBA playoff right here on TNT and don't
02:32forget two hours tomorrow night 6 to 8 p.m. of WCW Monday Nitro. This is the
