Birmingham's annual Oktoberfest celebrations return with venues across the city offering Bavarian-themed events. Whether you're into steins of authentic German beer, live brass bands, or traditional Bavarian street food. We'll take a look at where you can celebrate this year's festivities.

00:20keg tapping ceremony marking the start of the festivities, to a sausage eating contest

00:27The food menu is just as impressive, offering classics such as bratwurst, schnitzels and
00:32Bavarian schwein, schachs, pork knuckle.
00:36Guests can enjoy classic Oktoberfest beers from Munich's Big Six, including Lohenbrau
00:41and Paulaner, and for those wanting something different, there's Pilsner Urquell, fresh
00:46from the brewery.
00:48Moving to the Beerkeller on Essex Street, Oktoberfest enthusiasts can join the Beerkeller
00:53Live, a special Oktoberfest edition.
00:55The event features a live band, classic umpire tunes, games and a DJ playing until late.

01:35beer hall, complete with live music from the Heavy Beat Brass Band and German beer from
01:40Paulaner.
01:42The Old Trauen has been part of Birmingham's Oktoberfest scene since 2015, and this year's
01:47event promises to be one of its best, with a fantastic atmosphere for anyone looking
01:52to enjoy some German Kölscher.
