00:00In fact, Mr Speaker, the Office of the Vice-President can avail of these programmes.
00:09The Office of the Vice-President can request and in fact co-ordinate with these proper
00:15agencies to continue delivering the services as indicated and as planned out by the Office
00:22of the Vice-President.
00:23They can communicate and they can make an agreement or arrangement with, for example,
00:30DSWD or the Department of Health to make use of these funds in order that the sector that
00:36has been identified as a beneficiary of the Office of the President be served for the
00:42purpose of providing them assistance in the form of either medical assistance, scholarship
00:48aids, and the likes, Mr Speaker, Your Honour.
00:52It's just a matter of putting up a mechanism for these funds to be utilised properly because
00:58these agencies, apart from just being the proper agency to handle these funds, they
01:03have the absorptive capacity to implement these programmes, utilise the funds efficiently
01:09and expeditiously, Mr Speaker, Your Honour.
01:12Thank you, Mr Speaker, Distinguished Sponsor.
01:14It is a relief to know that even with the realigned budget, our people will still be
01:19served through the appropriate line agencies and as much as I still have questions, given
01:23that there are no research persons, I will now be including my interpolation.
01:26Thank you, Mr Speaker.

01:53Good afternoon to my colleagues.
01:56There are already many questions asked and we commend the Sponsor for his sponsorship
02:05and responses and it's good that it was taken up on the floor and having no more members
02:13who wish to propound any more questions, I move to terminate the period of sponsorship
02:19and debate for the budget of the Office of the Vice-President.
02:26Thank you very much.
