Visakha Cyclone Warning Center Golden Jubilee Celebrations: 2030 నాటికి ప్రతి ఇంటికీ వాతావరణం గురించి తెలియజేసే అధునాతన వ్యవస్థ తీసుకొస్తామని కేంద్ర వాతావరణ విభాగం డైరెక్టర్ జనరల్ మహాపాత్రో వెల్లడించారు. విశాఖ తుపాను హెచ్చరిక కేంద్రం స్వర్ణోత్సవం, భారత వాతావరణ విభాగం 150 వసంతాల ఉత్సవాలు ఘనంగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న మహాపాత్రో 1960-70 సమయంలో తుపానుల్లో ఎక్కువ మంది చనిపోయేవారని తెలిపారు. ఇప్పుడు ఆ సంఖ్యని సున్నాకి తీసుకొచ్చామన్నారు.
