00:00In January 2025, it is expected that the price of rice will drop by P5 according to the Department of Agriculture.

00:09If the price of rice is P52 now, it should be P48 by January. If the price of rice is P50 now, it should be P45 by January.

00:19According to Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tulaurel Jr., because of the effect of Executive Order No. 62,

00:25the price of imported rice will drop by 15% from the previous 35%.

00:32President Bang Bang Marcos is positive that the price will continue to fall, especially since that is what is happening in some Asian countries.

00:39At the same time, inflation rate is expected to fall this September from 3.3% in August, which is possible to fall to 2.5% this month.

00:48According to the government, the inflation rate in the country will end in the year between 2 and 4 percent.
