Troppo season 1 recap

Ted Conkaffey, a wrongly accused former policeman, moves to Crimson Lake and meets Amanda Pharrell, a private detective with a criminal past. Together, they investigate the disappearance of biologist Jake Scully. In the course of the investigation, they discover tensions in Jake's life and the controversial research he was conducting. Their investigation is hampered by mysterious forces and a network of local corruption. Amanda shares her past with Ted, strengthening their bond. The final confrontation with those responsible puts Ted and Amanda in grave danger. They survive and reveal the truth, confronting the culprits. Ted plans to stay in Crimson Lake and continue working with Amanda. The season ends on a hopeful note with new potential threats.
