00:00While a pancitan in Sampaloc, Manila was burned, one of the employees was injured.

00:10This air-conditioner is still going to explode.

00:12The residents of Jitwason Street in Sampaloc, Manila were engulfed by a fierce fire.

00:17It was past 3 o'clock in the early morning.

00:19A few moments later, the fire got even bigger and spread to a kitchen.

00:23The area was covered with thick smoke.

00:26The first alarm was set on the Bureau of Fire Protection.

00:29There were 8 firetrucks responding,

00:31aside from the fire volunteers.

00:33The first responders from the barangay tried to put out the fire,

00:37but they couldn't.

00:39When we arrived here, the fire was already strong.

00:42We used a fire extinguisher.

00:44We were in the 8 to 10 fire extinguisher.

00:46We couldn't really put out the fire.

00:50Two male stay-in employees were saved.

00:53They were sleeping on the ground floor when the incident happened.

00:56We were sleeping earlier,

00:58when the fire started in the kitchen and the main door.

01:02It's a good thing that I woke up one of my colleagues.

01:05If I didn't wake up, the fire might have started.

01:08The female employee who was sleeping on the ground floor was with them when the fire started.

01:14The BFP informed the fire station that the fire started on the first floor of the establishment.

01:20We are currently investigating the cause of the fatality.

01:26This is a residential commercial.

01:31They are here on the ground floor.

01:33This is a well-known pancitan.

01:36The fire started after almost 40 minutes.

01:39The initial cost of the fire was P100,000.
