00:00Welcome back to TMZ Sports, Mike and Mojo.
00:07Mojo, it's time for Inked Up, the Olympic edition, Mojo.
00:12We're going to start with the guy who just
00:15won his third gold medal, LeBron James.
00:18Of course, LeBron was the captain of Team USA
00:21and was critical, especially in the medal round, Mojo,
00:24leading his guys to that gold medal.
00:28LeBron is almost certainly done playing in the Olympics.
00:32He's 39 years old now.
00:34And although the 2028 games are coming to Los Angeles,
00:39the city that he plays in, the city where he lives, Mojo,
00:42he is probably going to be too old at that point.
00:45So it's something LeBron obviously
00:47never wants to forget, his experience
00:49at the 2012 and 2024 Olympics.
00:51So he hit up a famous tattoo artist named Ganga Tattoo.
00:56And he got the five interlaced Olympic rings on his forearm.
01:01It's a relatively small tattoo, but a pretty cool tattoo
01:06nonetheless.
01:07And obviously, winning those gold medals
01:09is something that LeBron very clearly cares very much about.
01:12Yeah, Babcock, I wonder how much he cares about them.
01:15I mean, obviously, winning a gold medal,
01:18really cool thing for most athletes.
01:20But if you're LeBron James, a guy
01:22that people argue if you are the GOAT,
01:26where does this rank in your most important,
01:29your most personal achievements?
01:32I'd be very curious to know the answer to that question.
01:36He's won some finals, all these MVPs,
01:39done a lot of cool things, flag bearer, all this.
01:43I'm just curious.
01:44I mean, is it relative to how much real estate
01:47he put on his skin?
01:49Because it's a great tattoo, but it's not
01:52taking up that much space.
01:54I mean, if I won a gold medal, I'd
01:56probably have that tattoo across my face,
01:59like glasses over my eyes or something.
02:01And prime real estate, you can't not
02:04see that I won a gold medal at some point.
02:07You know what I mean?
02:08So I don't know.
02:09Either way, very cool thing.
02:11Yeah, I think you go back to the 90s and 92 with the Dream Team.
02:17Those games were not competitive.
02:18But basketball on a global stage is very different now.
02:22And if not for a heroic performance by Steph Curry
02:26in the gold medal game, there's a good chance
02:28that he's got a bronze medal around his neck right now.
02:32So I think it has become more of an accomplishment for a lot
02:36of our NBA stars because it's just become
02:39harder to win a gold medal.
02:41He does have four NBA titles as well.
02:43I'm hoping to add a few more.
02:45So I don't know.
02:46I think it's probably the NBA title still.
02:48But I do know that representing America,
02:51that it is very important to these basketball players
02:54and to anyone who represents the country.
02:56Mojo, LeBron not alone with the tattoo.
03:00Now, this is not an Olymp-inspired tattoo.
03:02But it is a tattoo that has been gotten
03:04by one of the most decorated Olympians of all time,
03:09the most decorated gymnast ever, Simone Biles.
03:12Simone Biles went to a place called,
03:14or an artist named Syzygy in Phoenix, Mojo.
03:17And she got, you need like a microscope to see this thing.
03:21But she got a little J on her ring finger.
03:25And Mojo, what do you know?
03:26Her husband's name, Jonathan Owens.
03:28We asked the tattoo artist if this was an ode to her hubby.
03:33They wouldn't say.
03:34But I think it seems pretty clear, Mojo.
03:36She got the J as sort of an I love you to her man.
03:41Is the evidence definitive enough, Babcock?
03:44I would think so.
03:44I can't think of anything else.
03:46It could be coincidence here on the ring finger,
03:50his first initial of his name.
03:51I didn't even think of that.
03:52The ring finger, yeah.
03:54OK.
03:54I mean, maybe.
03:56I don't know if I'm buying it, Babcock.
03:58I mean, why'd she do it that small?
04:01What's the point of that?
04:02I actually want to ask the tattoo artist,
04:04is this the smallest, most simple, least amount of time
04:09you've ever spent on a tattoo?
04:12I mean, I wouldn't know how to make it any more simple
04:15if someone charged me with that task.
04:17So I mean, maybe that's what it's for.
04:19I can't say that definitively.
04:21But I'll let you have this one.
04:24Yeah, I agree, Mojo.
04:26I think it's for Jonathan Owens.
04:29We have just solved that.
04:30She also got another tattoo that said made in heaven.
04:33That one was a little bit bigger.
04:35Can't be smaller.
04:37Cannot be smaller.
04:38Wouldn't be physically impossible.
04:39All right, Mojo, we have got to go.
04:41We got a big show tomorrow.
04:44Week not over.
04:45We got more football.
04:46Bunch to talk about tomorrow.
04:48It's going to be a big show.
04:50Recapping a pair of Monday night football games
04:53will absolutely make tomorrow
04:58the best show since today.
