00:00Michael, just looking back on the Premier League weekend just gone, we are now a few
00:07match weeks in, there's been a lot of talking points, a lot of teams flying so far in terms
00:13of the bigger game on the Sunday, Manchester City hosting Arsenal. A lot of talking points
00:18from that, whether it's Rodri's injury, the red card, Arsenal being able to turn it around
00:24and maybe not hang on for that win at the Etihad that they're so desperate for in this
00:29sort of rivalry. A lot of build-up going into it, but it's so early in the season, so you
00:34don't really know how to react. City probably happy that they've come away with a draw very,
00:39very late on.
00:40I mean, you hit the nail on the head there. There's no shortage of talking points. I think
00:45you and I could do a three-hour podcast on the game alone. There's just so much to come
00:51away with, but I think it's a game that both sides come away from and are happy and disappointed
00:58at the same time. I think there's both things that they can take positives from and negatives.
01:03And I think, as I say, that the big thing really for me is that this is just an antithesis
01:08rivalry.
01:09Pass over Erling Haaland and the records he's already broken, he's reached 100 goals for
01:14Manchester City. It's quite incredible. I mean, you've probably yourself seen a fair
01:18percentage of that as well, but how impressed with him have you been, firstly as a whole
01:23since joining? It took Sergio Aguero an extra however many games to get here. He's just
01:30been remarkable. We can't really go past a Premier League weekend where he does break
01:34another record and not mention him. So how sort of impressed have you been with him?
01:39Yeah, because on another day, he could have been the big post-match talking point, because
01:43as you say, he got that 100 goals in 105 games, which equals Cristiano Ronaldo's record for
01:50Real Madrid. And he also became the first player, the quickest player, to double figures
01:55in a Premier League season. So he's got there in five games, 10 goals. It's ludicrous. It's
02:01like, as I always say, it's like someone put the sentence on FIFA, the amateur, and just
02:05let him play. Like, yeah, he's just a phenomenon. We've run out of things to say about him.
02:11I think we've run out of, I heard someone say, we've run out of ways to say, we've run
02:14out of things to say about him almost. He's just absolutely fantastic. And yeah, I think
02:21that, I mean, the one slight, slight concern with just how prolific Haaland is, is that
02:27I do wonder whether City would want to go share it around the team a little bit more.
02:32But that's being the most pedantic person ever and looking for a problem where really
02:38there isn't, because he's just a phenomenon. And he will undoubtedly, in my eyes, kind
02:44of get to 30 this season. It's just whether he can break his own record of 36. And he's
02:49given himself a fantastic start, assuming he stays fit. I think there's every chance
02:53we could be seeing another record-breaking season for him in terms of overall goals.
