00:00Yeah, my name's Victoria Smith.
00:02Victoria, tell me where we are and what's been happening here this morning.
00:06Yeah, so I live in Leesound Road and overnight we've had flooding from the heavy water and rains.
00:11The sewerage drains popped off, so our roads have all got flooded.
00:15Tell me about the damage that's caused to the residents.
00:19Basically, anybody that drives through, any water that sloshes up, it's going to go into their houses.
00:23It's near enough coming to my house today. Again, it's actually gone quite deep.
00:27Everybody sinks to sewerage water at the moment, so that's not very nice either.
00:32It affects us every time it floods, really.
00:36No sleep, because we're up early trying to sort out cars and get things moved and blocked off the road.
00:41How often does this happen?
00:43At least once or twice a year, but it's as and when.
00:47When it happens, it happens. There's no escape from it.
00:52How are you feeling about it all today?
00:56Very disappointed, because I know they did do work here a couple of years ago when it was really bad.
01:00The drains were all meant to be cleared out, all sorted, all unblocked, and nothing's actually worked at all.
01:05So, if anything, it's happened three times in the last year.
01:08So, the fact that that's happened and the drains aren't working is quite disappointing.
