00:00Hey guys, over the years we've showed you lots of Gar Demand in Japan, doing all sorts
00:06of superfluous activities.
00:08Here's another one.
00:10As you can see we're at Starbucks, and this Starbucks has a Gar Demand on duty from opening
00:17time early in the morning till closing time late at night.
00:20Not the same Gar Demand of course, they have shifts.
00:24So they're paying probably $15, $20 an hour to the company that provides the Gar Demand
00:32who then pay the Gar Demand about $11 an hour to stand there in the car park and point to
00:39the drive-thru where the sign is that says drive-thru and point to the parking area.
00:44Really they act as a greeter.
00:47That's why most companies have a Gar Demand in the car parks, to make the customers feel
00:51greeted and welcome from the moment they arrive.
00:54Anyway, there was that.
