Transcript
00:00Norway in the red, Austria straight on the front foot in the white, and they certainly
00:11have tended to enjoy this fixture a little more than Norway have of late.
00:16It's actually more than two decades since the last Norwegian win over Austria.
00:22Serlot, nice burst of speed from him, deceptively quick Alexander Serlot, and Norway in front
00:36with a beauty from Mira, his first ever game.
00:46Here it goes for Sarbitzer, the 1-1, and that chance is seized by Marcel Sarbitzer,
00:55and just as he did four years ago in this fixture in the Nations League, Sarbitzer glides
01:01in and scores for Austria in Oslo, and that one big opportunity that Austria have been
01:08crying out for all evening, well it was crafted and it was completed by Sarbitzer through
01:16the legs of Nilon, it's a smart finish and it is one apiece.
01:22We are hearing that there is a VAR check though for a potential offside leading up to that
01:29goal, so those Austrian celebrations just for a moment are paused, it's a quick check,
01:37we've been told that it is a legitimate goal so it is going to stand, so it is 1-1, Baumgartner,
01:54no foul on him, Thorsby helping it on, Antonio Nusa, first time he's got the ball at his
02:00feet, listen to the roar as he runs with it, and he's found Erdegaard, it's Erdegaard,
02:06could have been 2-1, really positive stuff wasn't it from the teenager, it's a great
02:13ball as well, and Erdegaard is unlucky because he's manipulated that between his feet to
02:21almost fall Leinhardt, ran out of room in the end to test Pence, message the same from
02:27Erdegaard and Nusa to the crowd, let's get going again, Berger, not a full foot,
02:36Antonio Nusa brilliantly done, still Nusa, would have been a beauty,
02:45they're all on their feet for that, it's a good save by Pence,
02:53it's Gundersen who's been solid since he's come on,
02:59lifted in looking for Thorsby, away by Kverveld, brave header from him,
03:04but Haarlem waiting for it again, it's Haarlem, it's not going to count,
03:12his moment of joy zipped away from him, and it did, it did look like Erling Haarlem was
03:17offside from the moment that ball was coming back towards him, not by much,
03:23it would have just been a bit quicker to get out there Erling Haarlem, that goal would have stood,
03:27just left the trailing leg behind and that is going to be what is penalising him I think,
03:37as ever under the watchful eye of dad,
03:43as we know everything tends to go Erling Haarlem's way doesn't it,
03:48the goal has been given,
03:49Haarlem might have won it for Norway and Scandinavia, an Erling Haarlem goal for Norway,
04:00Savica, now Saipaus,
04:07and Neuland with the save, and a good one as well,
04:12Comrade Leimer must have thought that was creeping in, Neuland got over there,
04:19well his goal against Slovenia that was nicely taken,
04:22it wouldn't actually have counted anyway because the flag was up for offside against Comrade Leimer,
04:29forward by Kverbels,
04:32Rearson kept his eye on it, kept his composure, hooks it away, and Norway have won the game,
04:38a victory secured by their ultimate talisman, the longest wait to decide that the goal stood,
04:54and for Skal Solbakken and all the pressure that he has felt in recent weeks,
04:59this is a proper pressure reliever,
05:01Norway with four points on their first two Nations League games,
05:08and on a night where it was generally felt they had to win in Oslo, they have won,
05:12despite the equalizer from Saabitzer in the first half.
