00:34And here we are with episode 48 of the package.

00:53Looks like it was double packaged.
01:00And we got a Super Famicom game, and we got the first Puyo Puyo.
01:06That was funny because I'm not sure which came out first, if it was Puyo Puyo or Robotnik's
01:13Mean Bean Machine, but I'm pretty sure it was Puyo Puyo.
01:18So my introduction into this, you know, similar puzzle game, it was definitely Mean Bean Machine.
01:27And then I went back to play some of the Puyo Puyo games.
01:30But I guess this is the very first one on Super Famicom, so happy to have it.
01:35They only paid like 7 or 8 bucks for it, so pretty excited.
01:41So let's get on with the gameplay footage and go from there.
01:55Alright and we got Puyo Puyo baby.

02:15Alright so I decided to just shoot it off the TV, kinda did it old school, as you saw
02:21me putting the cartridge into the system here, which was the RetroDuo by the way, which plays
02:28Super Famicom games.
02:31So let's get on with the gameplay baby.
02:35Nope, they're non-Japanese, but let's play anyway.
02:41Stage 1, stage 4, stage 3, whatever that is.
02:47Aww, so the fish have like frickin' arms and legs.

03:01Kinda nice to like a little story mode.
03:08So yeah, I remember playing Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, but I never heard of Puyo
03:14Pop or even knew of its existence, so.
03:21Pretty cool to know that was based off this one though.
03:26Yep, definitely not my first puzzler.
03:45Nothing like a nice relaxing puzzle game.
03:56I think there was a sequel on Super Famicom too, it's like a remix or something rather.
