Legend of the Mermaid 2 is a 2021 Chinese wuxia, fantasy, romance film directed by Cui Yan Long (崔炎龙), Lu Xun (鹿迅) and Ruan Jian Heng (阮健恆), with Liang Ting Wei (梁霆炜) reprising his main role as Yan Lie and Vera Qiu Shi Yuan (邱詩媛) as Xi Yin. A sequel to 东海人鱼传 The Legend of Mermaid (2020).

After Penglai island’s sinking, Xi Yin gives her pearl to Yan Lie to save him. While she sank into the sea and disappeared, the Chimaren clan also disappeared.

When the imperia's loved concubine Shen Mei (孙子钧 Sun Zi Jun) covets the pearl inside the body of the mermaid, Yan Lie goes to Peach Flower island looking for the mermaid. There he runs into his lover Xi Yin who lost her memory. Yan Lie now needs to do everything to bring Xi Yin's memory back.
