00:00You don't want it full of the holiday homeowner's photographs of Nan and Grandad, that doesn't
00:08work, that's too personal. But we do want it connected to where we are because we've
00:12chosen to go to that destination, it's probably because it's somewhere different to where
00:16we're living. So if there's a local winery, have some local wine, if there's a local artist,
00:20have their work displayed, have connections to restaurants, cafes, any products that are
00:24local and locally made really gives you that warmth and feeling. And remember, you're trying
00:29to make these people happy because every positive review just helps that ball get rolling
00:35with keeping your occupancy rates high, which is the most important part. They want a location
00:40that suits them. So it will be a city centre for some, it will be a rural oasis for others,
00:46it will be the beach side. But one thing, one phrase that definitely does not work in
00:50this environment is home from home. The last thing holidaymakers want is something that's
00:55exactly like their home. So if you're living in a two bedroom urban apartment, they don't
00:58want a city apartment. They want something different.
01:02Whether you're here, we're getting the view. If you're in a country house that has contemporary
01:06elements, it's the same thing because we have such wonderful landscape in Australia, whether
01:10it be bush, beach, coast, whatever. I think we want the homes to open up to that landscape.
