00:00The House Squad Committee issued an order against Myla Roque, the wife of former President and Spokesperson Harry Roque.

00:08Cassandra Leong, who was arrested in Pogo Hub in Porac, Pambanga, was again contempted by the committee and transferred to the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandalayong.

00:24The House Squad Committee ordered the transfer of Cassandra Leong to the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandalayong,

00:31the second time that the committee cited her in contempt.

00:36May I move that Ms. Cassandra Leong, because we have cited her in contempt, should be detained at the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandalayong for a period of 30 days. So moved, Mr. Chair.

00:52The educational background of Ms. Leong was criticized in the hearing.

00:55She was asked by Abang Lingkod Party List Representative Joseph Stephen Paduano, the co-chair of the Squad Committee,

01:02about the inconsistencies where she studied under the Alternative Learning System.

02:07a judge came forward to assess Ong's health.

02:11Ong will be discharged from the hospital on September 10,

02:15after her blood sugar and blood pressure dropped while she was in the middle of being examined by the camera.

02:26considering her ailment,

02:28we should reconsider this motion to detain her at the women's correctional, Mr. Chair.

02:34Or maybe, for that matter, we should let the medical team check on her, whether she is fit.

02:49that would be the responsibility of this committee, Mr. Chair.

02:53According to Surigao del Norte Representative Ace Barbers,

02:56Ong can still be examined by the medical team of the camera while she's in the women's correctional.

03:01If she doesn't trust the medical director of the women's correctional,

03:06maybe we can ask that our own medical team from the House of Representatives go check on her periodically.

03:15Ong's field of expertise regarding her transfer to the women's correctional is yet to be announced.

03:20But first, Ong's lawyer, Ferdinand Topacio, said that Ong wanted to transfer to the women's correctional instead of being ashamed of being examined by the camera.

03:30Ong will transfer there after September 26, when the period of the first contempt order against her by the camera will end.

03:38The committee also issued a show-cause order for Myla Roque, the wife of the former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

03:46This is because the committee did not comply with the invitation to investigate the POGOs.

03:52We are trying to get a statement from Roque's field, but Harry Roque previously denied that he was involved in an illegal POGO.
