CQC: Fight against health inequality must be driven further

Nicola Wise, the CQC’s director of secondary and specialist care, insists the fight to tackle health inequalities in the health sector “must be driven further” as a new report reveals around half of maternity units inspected between August 2022 and December 2023 were rated as requiring improvement or inadequate.
