00:14Number 20 – Honestly, This Is Pretty Brutal – Akame Ga Kill
00:23Leone is one kitty you don't want to play rough with, but Honest didn't really have
00:27a choice after everything he did.
00:35Serving as the Prime Minister of the Empire, Honest's corruption was comically obvious,
00:40and he was largely responsible for the deaths of many members of the Night Raid.
00:45Alas, he couldn't evade his fate forever, as he soon came face-to-face with Leone, who
00:50was ready to serve up a knuckle supper.
00:57Despite being shot, she did not take a break from this brutal pummeling.
01:01Pretty soon, there was more of Honest's scheming mind outside his head than in it.
01:14Number 19 – Sweet Revenge – Darwin's Game
01:18If you're stuck in a death game, chances are you're going to bump into a nutter like
01:22Wang sooner rather than later.
01:28This psychotic gang leader took more than a little pleasure in dishing out cruel punishments
01:34for those who wronged him – or just anyone he could get his hands on, for that matter.
01:39After killing Kaname's friend, his time on Earth was about to be cut dramatically
01:43short, however.
01:44First, he's picked apart as Shuka's plaything.
01:53Then, Kaname gets to serve his own brutal punishment on him, which comes in the form
02:00of a bullet – which, let's face it, was pretty redundant when he was already in pieces.
02:12Number 18 – Caesar Falls Flat – JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
02:17What started with a bitter rivalry between two hot-headed Hamon users became a beautiful
02:22bromance between Joseph and the Italian ladies' man, Caesar.
02:32Unfortunately, the latter isn't strong enough to hold up against one of the infamous Pillar
02:39Men.
02:40It's not enough that his body was shredded by Wamuu, but in the aftermath, he has a giant
02:45stone cross fall onto his already-doomed body.
02:54He may not have kept his looks in death, but at least he managed to carry over the last
02:58of his will to Joseph – arrivederci!
03:06Number 17 – Louise's Revenge – Mobile Suit Gundam 00
03:12Amazing how one bit of tragedy can turn a spoiled, but ultimately cheerful girl into
03:17a merciless pilot whose desire for revenge consumes her life.
03:21Case in point, Louise Halavy.
03:26After the death of her parents, along with some added manipulation by the innovators,
03:31she finally gets her chance at revenge on Nina Trinity.
03:35And boy, does she go all out.
03:37Blowing up Nina's mobile suit to pieces, her psychosis reaches completion before taking
03:42her out with a final shot right to the cockpit.
03:51Number 16 – Kenshiro Shows No Mercy – Fist of the North Star
03:56As one of the four Hokuto brothers, Jagi held great resentment for his younger adopted brother,
04:02Kenshiro.
04:03Especially considering the fact that he's the whole reason why he wears a helmet to
04:07hide his disfigured face.
04:12He would commit grievous acts on the innocent, all the while impersonating and defaming the
04:17wandering martial artist.
04:19When the two finally face off, Kenshiro strikes Jagi with the Seiei-ko technique, which causes
04:25him to feel like his entire body is covered with bare nerves.
04:33He then proceeds to prolong Jagi's death by striking him four agonizing times for each
04:38victim he wronged.
04:40For someone who likes to tell their opponent they're already dead, Kenshiro sure took
04:44his time with this one.
04:51Number 15 – Any Hikari Ni Nare – King of Braves – Gal Gaiga
04:58If you've seen Gal Gaiga, you know that the 3G doesn't do anything by half measures.
05:03In their continuing war against the Zondarians, they must find a way to destroy the Zonda
05:09monster of the weak without killing the human inside.
05:12With the Hell and Heaven technique proving too much for Gai Shishio's body, they instead
05:17opt to give Gal Gaiga a giant hammer that doesn't know the word subtlety.
05:23With it, Gai hammers in a giant nail, pries out the human core, then utterly obliterates
05:29the remaining body with an attack that, as its name implies, turns them into light.
05:38Yeah, anything the Goldeon Hammer touches is reduced to photons below the atomic level.
05:54Number 14 – Ren Plays Twister – ReZero – Starting Life in Another World
05:58Really, anime?
06:00It's not enough that the best girl is denied a romance with the main lead, but then you
06:05go and do this to her?
06:11After being captured by the Witch's Cult, our beloved blue-haired maid finds herself
06:16dying in a rather excruciating manner as all of her limbs are twisted.
06:27The obvious silver lining stems from Subaru's morbid ability to rewind time following his
06:32death.
06:33However, he won't soon be forgetting what a horrific fate befell the adorable Oni.
06:47Number 13 – Future Sight – Pokemon The subject of death is rarely ever explored
06:53in the Pokemon anime, so to say this moment was shocking is putting it lightly.
07:02Hunter J is a lot like many of the villains in the series.
07:05She's a despicable Pokemon hunter who captures and steals from others, and then makes a great
07:11profit on the black market.
07:13This would ultimately be her undoing, however, when she captured the three Lake Guardians
07:18– Yooksie, Mesprit, and Azelf.
07:27After completing this job, her airship is suddenly struck down by a Future Sight attack
07:33and proceeds to crash right into a whirlpool.
07:36Underwater, the pressure from the water breaks the glass, leaving her and her henchmen to
07:41drown.
07:42You'd think that would be more than enough to ensure her death, but of course, to add
07:46insult to injury, her airship suddenly explodes.
07:54Number 12 – Riders High – Eureka 7 It's fair to say that Holland wasn't exactly
08:02the best host to Renton when he first arrived on the Gekko.
08:06Even so, everything fell on Renton's shoulders when, after attempting to save the priest,
08:11Norb, Holland found himself in the middle of an ambush.
08:15Pressured by his fellow Gekko State members, Renton bursts onto the scene with the Nirvash
08:20and cleans house, but that's where it gets complicated.
08:30His conflicting feelings over Holland and the adrenaline rush he feels in combat overpower
08:35his actions, and he soon finds himself high off the rush.
08:39He hammers the last opposing LFO relentlessly, reducing its pilot to a bloody paste.
08:45It's only after seeing what's left of the human inside that he realises what he
08:49has become.
08:54Number 11 – Gojo Crushes Hanami – Jujutsu Kaisen Anyone who's watched Jujutsu Kaisen
09:00knows that Gojo loves to defeat his opponents in a way that's as over-the-top as possible.
09:08But what happens when you actually attempt to piss him off?
09:12Well, Hanami and the others soon found out when they tried to use civilians as human
09:17shields.
09:18With the power of his infinity, Gojo essentially pushes Hanami against a wall and crushes them
09:24like a hydraulic press.
09:29There's a good reason why they call him the strongest sorcerer, as he pretty much
09:36crushed this special-grade cursed spirit like a bug.
09:43Number 10 – Matt's Surrender – Death Note It really doesn't pay to be an ally
09:49of Mello.
09:52A potential successor to the genius detective L, Mello finds himself taking up his own crusade
09:58against the threat of Kira after his mentor's death, even employing his close friend Matt
10:04to help him out.
10:05Eventually, the tide turns against him as Matt finds himself surrounded by the authorities
10:10at gunpoint, forcing him to surrender.
10:16Except there's one little problem – these guys happen to be big fans of Kira.
10:21One bullet would've been enough, guys.
10:28Number 9 – Monster Kado – Yu-Gi-Oh!
10:30Duel Monsters What?
10:32You didn't think a series centred on a children's card game could have an example of an overkill
10:37in it?
10:38Well, you'd be wrong.
10:45During a rematch between Yami and Weevil Underwood, our heroic pharaoh manages to win by playing
10:51a card that allows him to attack continuously as long as he keeps drawing monster cards.
11:04He ends up drawing a lot of cards, and despite his life points reaching zero, Weevil gets
11:10metaphorically slaughtered.
11:11We're thinking he won't be able to hear the words, Monster Kado, without wincing from
11:16now on.
11:23Number 8 – Any Dominator Kill Ever – Psycho-Pass Series
11:28We're kind of cheating here by including a collective of overkills, but we think we're
11:37justified in our choice given the fact that the signature weapon of the Enforcers doesn't
11:42put a bullet in its targets.
11:44He causes them to explode.
11:53Whether it's flesh or metal, these transforming pistols have so much kick behind them that
11:59there is no such thing as a stealthy kill when they are switched into lethal eliminator
12:05mode, leaving behind one hell of a bloody mess.
12:18Number 7 – Char's No Scope Kill – Mobile Suit Gundam
12:22Throughout the original Gundam series, Char had only one thing on his mind – revenge.
12:28The target of that revenge was the very family he served under, and trust us, Nozabi was
12:33safe.
12:39Outside of her Hitler-esque brother, none deserved that revenge more than Cazilia – though
12:44it seemed that she was just too fast for the Red Comet in her escape.
12:49But anyone who knows Char knows that he will go to some unconventional lengths to get what
12:54he wants.
13:00Instead of, say, exploding the ship they were on, Char just had to be extra and instead
13:05opted to perform the most ridiculous headshot of all time – with a rocket launcher.
13:16Anywhere would have done the job, Kasval, but you just had to flex, didn't you?
13:20Number 6 – Several Punch Man – One Punch Man
13:24Turns out that while Saitama can destroy anything from an alien overlord to a meteor with just
13:30one single blow, it doesn't mean he has to stop there.
13:40It's just when he does decide to throw more than one, it results in a supervillain getting
13:45blown to bits, like they'd just been hit by a bomb.
13:54In all honesty, a single punch would have been enough to take out pretty much anything,
13:59but we're not telling him to stop.
14:01By all means, give us more consecutive normal punches.
14:08Number 5 – Dragon of the Darkness Flame – Yu Yu Hakusho
14:13In their battle against Team Rokuyukai during the Dark Tournament, Hiei takes on their supposed
14:19leader, Zeru, in the place of the snoozing Yusuke.
14:22The upper-C-class demon possesses great power over heat energy, covering his entire body
14:28with it and engulfing his opponents in flames.
14:33Shockingly, Hiei gets right back up and decides to fight fire with fire, except this time
14:41he evokes the Dragon of the Darkness Flame.
14:51With just one single blast, Hiei utterly removed Zeru from existence.
14:54Honestly, he didn't have to go this hard, and to think this is all because he insulted
14:59the Jagan-Ai.
15:00Number 4 – Junko's Execution – Danganronpa The Animation
15:10Junko Enoshima is one crazy lady.
15:14After imprisoning a group of students inside of an abandoned school, she seeks to invoke
15:18despair by throwing them all into a murder-mystery game of death.
15:25Of course, she's eventually called out, and after realising that hope has won over
15:30her precious despair, decides to do the only logical thing – subject herself to every
15:35wacky torture that she inflicted onto others.
15:45This includes being pelted by a barrage of baseballs, stuck inside a motorcycle cage,
15:50burnt at the stake, sent into space and crushed.
15:54Like we say, crazy.
16:03Number 3 – Lust Gets Cremated – Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
16:08Any one fella who takes a glance at this sultry homunculi would want to light her world on
16:13fire, but Roy Mustang would perhaps prefer a more literal approach.
16:25In order to avenge his friend Hughes, the Flame Alchemist puts a big red target on the
16:30heads of every homunculus, and he got his first shot at one of them when he came into
16:35contact with Lust.
16:43Unsurprisingly, his weapon of choice was his scorching abilities, which were pretty damned
16:47effective.
16:48However, this is not a one-shot deal.
16:51This is a non-stop barrage of fire that eventually reduces her from sin to cinders.
17:04Number 2 – Gon Kills Pitou – Hunter x Hunter
17:17Even one of the strongest Royal Guards finds themselves powerless when up against a transformed
17:21Gon, who channels his anguish over the loss of his friend into a series of strikes that
17:27end up decimating Pitou.
17:33You can honestly feel every single hit that the Chimera Ant takes.
17:37Even long after the fight is over, Gon is still laying into the Chimera Ant, ouch.
18:02Number 1 – Freeza Finally Dies – Dragon Ball Z
18:06The once-feared space tyrant really had an unfortunate change of luck after encountering
18:11Goku.
18:12He was sliced in half and blasted to bits, but survived.
18:16Leave it to the time-travelling half-Zayan to get the job done, though.
18:26After travelling to Earth with Daddy Dearest, not only does Freeza get cut to ribbons, he'll
18:32also get evaporated courtesy of a ki blast.
18:38The villain got killed so hard that when he was eventually revived by the Dragon Balls,
18:43he was still in pieces.
