The SCG will be packed to the rafters on Friday as the Swans look to book their spot in another AFL grand final. And while some Sydney locals might still be hoping to get a last minute ticket, a smaller - but no less devoted - group of Bloods fans on the other side of the country will be glued to their barstools cheering on their beloved team.

00:20It's a real family community type group so it's people that come from all walks of life

00:31I've met so many people through being a member and it's great.
00:38Club President Daz Somerville, who drives the six hour round trip each week to join
00:42match festivities, says the fan group is going from strength to strength.
00:46We're all about the football team but we're about the club even more and we just get people
00:51on board with it and it's just growing.
00:53Former Sydney players and current day officials are a regular sight at the Supporters Club
00:58which also raises funds for the Swans Foundation.
01:00They all know where it's going to and they're all happy that their little parts go together
01:04to make a great big part to support the foundation as best we can.
01:08The group's home base is just streets away from WA's biggest AFL club, although they
01:13don't consider themselves in enemy territory.
01:16People do have a bit of a laugh about it.

01:27The AFL grand final might be 3,500 kilometres from Perth and more than a week away but ask
01:32anyone at this Supporters Club who they want to see lift the cup on the last Saturday in
01:36September and you'll get just one response.
01:41And can the Swans make it to the last Saturday of September?
