Israel's Mossad Blamed for Planting Explosives in 5,000 Pagers Used by Hezbollah, Killing 9 and Leaving 3,000 Injured

Israel's Mossad has been accused of planting explosives in 5,000 pagers used by Hezbollah fighters, leading to detonations across Lebanon. The blasts killed nine people and injured nearly 3,000,  including many of the group’s fighters and Iran’s envoy to Beirut. Hezbollah was using pagers as a low-tech means of communication to evade Israeli surveillance and location-tracking. Hezbollah vowed to retaliate against Israel, while Israeli officials did not comment on the incident. The operation exposed a major security breach for Hezbollah, highlighting Israeli intelligence's deep infiltration into the group.
