00:00Let's get to the National League playoff picture. Less than two
00:06weeks remain in this MLB regular season. We're nearing
00:10only 10 games left over an area of 162 around MLB this year.
00:15Again, as we look at the divisional races, there is not
00:19much at stake. The Dodgers are going to win the National League
00:21West for the 11th time in the last 12 years. They have a
00:24three-and-a-half game lead over San Diego. That's the closest
00:28one. But when you look at division prices on the
00:31FanDuel Sportsbook, only two remain. None in the National
00:35League. It's just the AL East and the AL Central. National
00:39League East, we're going to have a new divisional champ for
00:42the first time in seven seasons. The Braves have won
00:45six straight. The Phillies an eight-game lead over the Mets
00:48right now. And the Brewers maintain a double-digit
00:50advantage in the National League Central, 10 games up over
00:54the Chicago Cubs. So that's kind of taken care of. The
00:58question, Joe, with the division leaders is the order
01:01of those three. Will it be Philadelphia one, LA two,
01:06Milwaukee three? Might we see a change in these final two
01:09weeks? Yeah, and you could very well. And it actually means a
01:14little something, right? Because of the new
01:17structure with the playoffs and the extra team ban, we got
01:19buys are involved this year. So it's actually not a, ah, just
01:24get in it and win it. We don't care. Heck, if you can get that
01:27number one locked up, man, you get that number one locked up.
01:30It gives you all the advantage with rotations and everything
01:33else moving forward. It is a really interesting debate, Joe.
01:37If you remember the debate last year in the MLB postseason, as
01:40we saw wild card teams in both leagues face off in a World
01:44Series. The Rangers who knocked off the top overall seed in the
01:47AL Baltimore in the division round. The D-backs, of course,
01:51catching fire at the right time to play in the World Series. It
01:55was the rest versus rust age old debate was earning those
01:59top two seeds in the opening round by past the wild card
02:02round into the division series. Actually, a benefit will have
02:06those same conversations. I am sure as we get to this October
02:10and this MLB postseason, here's a really intriguing and frankly
02:14wrong market discrepancy on the FanDuel Sportsbook. The Dodgers
02:18are the favorites right now to have the best record in all of
02:21the bigs at minus 150. The Philz have the second best price
02:26of plus 110, but Philadelphia with the one game advantage for
02:29the best record currently in the National League is a minus
02:32145 favorite to be that NL number one overall seed. There
02:36is no way the Dodgers could have the best record in
02:39Philadelphia. The best seed unless they would pay you out in
02:43the dead heat rules applying because Philly does have the
02:46advantage in the season series over LA and thus the tiebreaker
02:51if they ended up with the same record. That's an interesting
02:54odds distinction on FanDuel. Yeah, it's a very interesting
02:58and what does it say about what we're thinking about this
03:02Dodgers team, what we thought about them, where they are
03:06currently right now, what the market still thinks is going to
03:09happen here. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, the team that I
03:14trust the most of those three, Ben, as crazy as this is the
03:18Milwaukee Brewers because I think they've been the most
03:20consistent that we can trust here to do it. But the way the
03:24schedule is lining up here, it's probably if the Phillies
03:27handle their business, the Phillies are going to be your
03:30number one seed. But can you say that with confidence that
03:34they'll go ahead and just run the table and handle it? I
03:37can't, not with the way they've been playing since the
03:39All-Star break.
