00:02Yes, you are, but for your past books in your newer books.

00:07Yes, so, oh, that's interesting.

00:10Yeah.

00:10So a little bit.

00:11So in two of my books, characters have appeared with each other.

00:18And actually, in a fun way, I am writing the sequel to The Last Thing He Told Me.

00:23Some of the characters in this book are going to be appearing in my next book.

00:27Like we keep referencing The Last Thing He Told Me.

00:30Talk about meeting Jennifer Garner for the first time.

00:32I know, I remember you said you had such a special experience with her.

00:36Well, Jennifer Garner is just, you know, I always say a lot of young writers reach out,

00:43which I love, and want to talk about their first book or their first experience.

00:46And they always say, well, how do you get something adapted?

00:48And I say, well, I don't know.

00:51It's a whole lot of luck.

00:52But something that really helps is we had the love and support of Reese Witherspoon's

00:57Hello Sunshine and the amazing people there, and of Jennifer Garner, who just came on board

01:02and really embraced Hannah and made her her own.

01:07And it's just really a pinch me thing to watch that all happen.

01:12And for season two, like you said, you're writing the book and you're writing the show.

01:17So no.

01:18No, you're not helping.

01:19So because I'm writing the book and the show is going to get to be a big surprise to me.

01:24There's a wonderful team of writers in place.

01:27My husband is involved.

01:29But actually, I can't I don't hear anything because it's happening.

01:32So I'm going to get to see all that a little bit later.

01:35That's fun.

01:35What's it like for you to do that simultaneously and kind of not know what's going on on that end?

01:40I think because I trust everybody so much and they care so much about these characters,

01:45I get to just sort of enjoy it and see what's coming.

01:48So I can't wait.

01:49I can't wait.

01:49And it's also making me hurry up and finish the book so I can go get involved.

01:52Right.

01:53And so to wrap up everything, what can you tell us about the future of Hannah's story

01:58and where that's going book wise?

02:00I bet I got to keep I got to keep that tight.

02:02I will say this.

02:03Hannah, we got to watch her become the hero of her own life in the first book.

02:09And in the second book, she's even more badass.
