00:04Today we will take you to Malta's best tourist spot.
00:11A small, quaint fishing community called Masak Slope may be found in Malta's southeastern region.
00:21It is a popular tourist destination known for its vistas, fishermen, and history and includes a harbour.
00:301,534 people called the settlement home as of March 2014.
00:38Masak Slope is well known as a tourist attraction for a number of reasons.
00:48The village has a few of the island's best fish eateries.
00:53For its secluded and unpolluted swimming areas in the area surrounding Masak Slope, as well as for its tranquil walks around the harbour and the coast.
01:06Locals take advantage of the nightlife, particularly in the summer when they can stroll along the promenade, grab an ice cream on the way, and let the sea breeze relieve the heat of the season.
01:23In Masak Slope, there are four beautiful coves with clear water, but none of them are conveniently located.
01:33This makes them ideal swimming locations for swimmers seeking solitude and who don't mind a short stroll to get there.
01:42These sites are rarely crowded, and the vendors and beach combo business owners that dominate other bathing areas in Malta have avoided them due to their remote locations and bad roads.
01:56Ilofra Girat Little Cove and Ilofra El Quebra Big Cove, two coves close to one another, are the first two beaches in Masak Slope.
02:12You must travel a number of twisting, narrow roads southwest of the settlement to get there.
02:20The other two of these bays are Kalinka and St. Peter's Pool, with St. Peter's Pool being the most easily reached of the four due to its proximity to the Dilimara Power Station Road.
02:38Each of the four coves has deep, crystal-clear waters that are ideal for snorkelling.
02:44In all four bays, particularly for young children or new swimmers, the water can become quite turbulent and dangerous when the wind is high from the south or east.
