00:05Alright ladies and gentlemen, I have seen 200% Wolf.
00:10Yes.
00:12It is the story of Freddy, a poodle, who is for some reason the son of a werewolf.
00:19And the werewolves guard the city at night, so they're superhero werewolves.
00:25And then, you know, Freddy being a poodle, nobody wants to respect him, despite the fact that his dad is the leader.
00:34And then, you know, he summons a moon spirit to turn him into a wolf, because being a poodle is kind of lame.
00:42Anyway.
00:43For every 1,000 subscribers I get, I do purchase one of these bracelets from 4ocean.

01:00On almost all platforms, it's running somewhere around a 50%.
01:05And, yeah, look, it's an atypical kids movie.
01:10It has a heavy-handed moral about earning respect and not taking shortcuts.

01:19Well, I mean, otherwise, visually, this is a beautiful film.
01:23It is a beautiful film, with lots of wonderful, well-defined characters.
01:32There's a lot of purple and blue.
01:34It might give you a bit of a headache, but then so does Avatar, so that's not the point.
01:40The story is a little, you know...
01:46Oh, we've gotta save the thing.
01:49The Moon Spirits, of course, if you've seen the trailer, Moon Spirits cannot survive on Earth.
01:54And they have a young Moon Spirit.
01:57I believe the young Moon Spirit is something like, you know, 400 years old.
02:02They say that in the story.
02:06You know, of course, Freddy, having brought him to Earth, now has to bring him back to the Moon.
02:11And that's one of those sort of points about being, you know, you made a mess and you clean it up.
02:19And I love that aspect of the film.
02:22And there are scenes in this that sort of remind me of, you know, like, All Dogs Go to Heaven.
02:27There's this sort of secret dog lair under the city that the werewolves don't know about.
02:32But, I mean, how many of the dogs even know about it, I'm not even sure.
02:37It's a beautiful scene. I mean, it's kind of silly, but it's a beautiful scene.
02:41And that's just one of those things about this movie.
02:44You know, it's got really cool characters for kids.
02:47There's a big fuzzy bat monster.
02:50And there are these frog demon things.
02:53And, you know, it's just...
02:57As movies go, it's got a lot of wonderful little marketing bits in here and there.
03:03And, I mean, it paces well.
03:05I don't know why anybody is really disliking this film.
03:08It's not the best film in the world.
03:11There are some questions there.
03:14Like, you know, how are these coincidences that they wind up in the right place
03:19when really, you know, if you watch the movie, it's just...
03:24How does that even happen?
03:26Nothing interrupts a review about talking dogs and a cat, anyway.

03:32So, yeah, look. I found this film to be safe and enjoyable.
03:40You know, I didn't dislike anything.
03:42The voice acting was solid.
03:44And, really, 200% Wolf...
03:48It's a fine story for kids.
03:51I mean, I don't know where...
03:54You're not expecting something really great.
03:58You're expecting something to entertain children.
04:01And, you know, these dogs are cute, and they're fun.
04:04There's a dog that wears glasses, and he's kind of a hippie.
04:07And there's the dog that's the main character's best friend.
04:13And there's this little chihuahua thing.
04:15And there's this big dumb dog that just loves his ball and carries it everywhere.
04:22And, of course, you have the moon spirit, which is a...
04:29You know, translucent blue thing.
04:32And it eats magic to become a translucent red thing.
04:36And this is just kind of how kids' movies go.
04:39You've got a lot of wonderful images that were primarily designed to sell toys.
04:44It's not the most original story in the world.
04:48And, I mean, I remember watching this film, and I was like,
04:52Okay, here comes the twist.
04:54Yep, there's the twist.
04:56You know, I mean, there would be a twist for a movie when at the end, you know, there isn't a twist.
05:06And there isn't the surprise, you know, it's really this moment.
05:12But then, is that as interesting?
05:15I mean, all these things have been done before, but they've been done for a reason.
05:23And, I mean, you know, it's like the dogs playing rock, paper, scissors was funny.
05:29And there are dog jokes in here.
05:31And, you know, I would say this belongs, actually, in the upper middle of your watch list.
05:37It's a pretty solid film if you have children.
05:40I mean, yeah, okay, you're not missing anything if you don't see this movie.
05:45It's not this incredible story that's likely to spawn a dozen sequels.
05:49Although, there's probably going to be a made-for-DVD sequel to this.
05:52Or made-for-video, or made-for-streaming, or whatever it is nowadays.
05:56But, yeah, you know what?
05:58I mean, I enjoyed the film.
06:00I liked it. It was fun.
06:02Not wonderful, but fun.
06:04200% wolf?
06:06Yeah, I would go see it.
06:08I would definitely go see this again, rather than seeing, for example,
06:16It Ends With Us, which I found to be slow and uninteresting.
06:21When that one chick wasn't running around in lingerie.
06:25So, yeah, you know.
06:27Solid movie. Fun enough.
