00:00My Prophet said, do three things, you will benefit.
00:04Hazrat Abdul Rehman Ibn Auq said, I have experienced this Hadith.
00:08And he used to say, I swear by Allah, my Prophet said, it is the truth.
00:15Huzoor Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
00:20Giving charity does not reduce wealth.
00:24Giving charity reduces wealth.
00:26What? What does it do?
00:29This is the promise of the Prophet.
00:31Giving charity reduces wealth.
00:33Tell me, if you give me 500 out of 1000, how much is left?
00:37So Huzoor is saying, it does not reduce.
00:40If you give 1000, how much is left?
00:43No.
00:44My Mabu says, give one in the way of Allah, He will give you back seven hundred times.
00:51The Prophet said, giving charity does not reduce wealth.
00:55And he said, apologising does not reduce honour.
00:59Apologising reduces honour.
01:02Allah is the greatest.
01:04Apologising reduces honour.
01:06And my Beloved has crossed the limit.
01:08He said, for the sake of Allah, be humble.
01:11It is the promise of your Prophet, Allah will give you honour.
01:14You bow down for the sake of Allah.
01:16Be humble.
01:17Be simple.
01:19Be simple.
01:20Be humble.
01:22There are two things.
01:24One, apologising is a mistake.
01:25And second, first listen to the humble one.
01:28Hazrat Umar bin Abdulaziz was a king.
01:30He was sleeping.
01:32The slave was also resting near him.
01:34The guest was also there.
01:35It was the duty of the slave to always stay near the Prophet.
01:38He was sleeping.
01:40It was late.
01:41The poor slave slept a little.
01:45The Prophet was writing something.
01:48The guest was sitting.
01:50The guest was sleeping.
01:51The lamp was slowly dimmed.
01:54The Prophet got up.
01:55He was an old man.
01:56He was trying to fix the lamp.
01:57The guest said,
01:58Huzoor, should I do it?
02:00Should I do it?
02:02The Prophet said,
02:03No, you are a guest.
02:04You cannot serve a guest.
02:06The Prophet said,
02:07Wake up the slave.
02:08He said,
02:09The poor one just slept.
02:10And wake him up from his sleep.
02:12He went himself.
02:13He put oil in it again.
02:14Fixed the lamp.
02:15The flames came back.
02:17The guest was a king.
02:19He said,
02:20Huzoor, do you do your own work?
02:22What a word!
02:23What a beauty!
02:24And what an effect in two sentences!
02:26The Prophet said,
02:27Yes, I do my own work.
02:29When I went,
02:30I was still Umar bin Abdul Aziz.
02:32And when I came back after fixing the lamp,
02:35I am still Umar bin Abdul Aziz.
02:37Did anything change in me?
02:39I am the same person who went.
02:41Hazrat Sayyidina Farooqiazab said,
02:44I was sitting.
02:46And it had been three days
02:48that the Prophet was sitting.
02:50I was sitting.
02:51Two or three girls came.
02:53And Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq
02:55came in front of them
02:57and started crying.
02:58Why does the daughter of
03:00Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq cry?
03:02He said,
03:03You have become a Caliph.
03:05Since the time of our father's death,
03:07our means of livelihood was that
03:09we kept goats.
03:10You used to come daily.
03:12You used to milk the goats.
03:13We used to drink.
03:14We used to sell and survive.
03:16Now you have become a Caliph.
03:18Who will come?
03:19Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq said,
03:21Do you know,
03:22the Caliph is the servant of the nation.
03:24I will come.
03:26Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq daily,
03:28daily after Asr,
03:31and despite being a Caliph,
03:34he used to catch the goats of those girls,
03:36milk them,
03:37bring them to their house.
03:39Whenever Hazrat Farooqiazab used to see,
03:41he used to say,
03:42Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq,
03:43you are making it very difficult
03:44for those who are coming after you.
03:46You are making it very difficult.
03:47In the path of loyalty,
03:49I have left my mark like this.
03:51The destination from which I have passed,
03:53she still remembers.
03:55Hazrat Salman Farsi,
03:57he was the governor of a province.
03:59He was standing in a simple dress,
04:01in a simple,
04:02bus stop.
04:04From where people used to enter,
04:06from where buses were built.
04:08In our language,
04:09we call it a bus stop.
04:10He was standing outside.
04:11A guest came to him.
04:13He saw that he was in a simple dress.
04:15He thought he was a servant.
04:20He said,
04:21Khadim, come here.
04:22Come here,
04:23you are close.
04:24He said,
04:25pick up my luggage.
04:26Imam Ghazali said,
04:28when you sit to study,
04:29you should also take care,
04:30that you do not become arrogant.
04:32Be humble.
04:34Be humble.
04:36The luggage on his head,
04:37Hazrat Salman Farsi,
04:39the governor,
04:40that guest's luggage on his head,
04:43and he was going.
04:45He was going.
04:46Listen and pay attention.
04:48When he was going,
04:49whoever he met,
04:50the governor said,
04:51give it to me.
04:53The guest was worried.
04:54He said,
04:55Huzoor, you are the governor.
04:56He said,
04:57no,
04:58this is my worldly name,
04:59which these people have given.
05:01My real name is the same,
05:02which you have called.
05:04My real name is the same.
05:05You said,
05:06servant, come here.
05:07He said,
05:08I was a servant of a Jew.
05:10Then Allah blessed me,
05:11so I became a servant of Muhammad.
05:14I became a servant of Rasool Allah.
05:16And when I became a servant of Prophet,
05:18he became the Imam of this whole province.
05:20Actually, I became a servant.
05:22The second one is my Prophet.
05:24Firstly,
05:25you get respect from humility.
05:26Respect from arrogance.
05:28That person who screams,
05:29when you go near him.
05:31You say,
05:32he respects me a lot.
05:33He does not respect you.
05:35Is it the respect of a lion,
05:36or is it fear?
05:37He says,
05:38I am not afraid of him.
05:40What is the fear of a lion?
05:42Fear.
05:43It does not have respect.
05:44It is a beast.
05:45Do beasts also have respect?
05:47So,
05:48the person who is hanging a stick,
05:51and getting respect from people,
05:53this is not your respect,
05:54this is your fear.
05:56Respect is in humility,
05:58in arrogance.
06:00And the second one,
06:01my Prophet said,
06:03respect is in forgiving.
06:05What is respect?
06:07Respect is in taking revenge.
06:09These are the facts.
06:11The one who takes revenge,
06:12and slaps you,
06:14he is not without respect.
06:15In fact,
06:16Musnad Imam Muhammad bin Ambal
06:17and Hazrat Musa A.S.
06:19are standing on the mountain.
06:20My Prophet said,
06:22Hazrat Musa A.S. said,
06:24in the way of Allah,
06:25O Allah,
06:26the whole world says,
06:27we have respect,
06:28we have respect.
06:29O Allah,
06:32O Allah,
06:33O Allah,
06:34tell me,
06:35who among your people
06:36has respect?
06:37Hazrat Musa A.S. said,
06:38Allah said,
06:39whoever has the power
06:40to take revenge,
06:42even then,
06:43forgive him,
06:44he has a lot of respect.
06:46The one who can hit a stone
06:47in the answer of a brick,
06:49the one who can hit 15 bullets
06:50in the answer of a bullet,
06:53but forgive him,
06:54he has a lot of respect.
06:56The one who forgives,
06:57has a lot of respect.
06:59Hazrat Fakhr Jahan Delvi,
07:02was a great dervish.
07:04He is a great name
07:05in the chain of Aaliyah Chishtiyah.
07:07And if you read the circumstances
07:08of this Sufi,
07:09then Rab Kareem
07:10had been greatly blessed.
07:11He was the khateeb
07:12of the Jama Masjid in Delhi.
07:14And his miracle was that
07:15the man who used to come
07:16and stand in front,
07:17he did not have to tell
07:18what is in my heart.
07:20He did not have to tell.
07:22When he used to stand in front,
07:23Hazrat used to raise his hand.
07:25He used to say,
07:26O Allah,
07:27he is childless,
07:28give him a child.
07:29Another man came and stood.
07:30Are you not happy?
07:31Another man came and stood.
07:32Another man.
07:33He came and said,
07:34he stood in front for prayer.
07:36Hazrat used to say,
07:37O Allah, he is sick.
07:38He used to say,
07:39there was something in my heart,
07:40I did not have to tell.
07:41I taqoo firasatil momin
07:43fa innahu yanzuroo bi noorillah.
07:45The Prophet said,
07:47fear the heart of a believer,
07:49he sees with the light of Allah.
