00:00Crunch time on Sports Radio 1310.
00:03The Ticket.
00:04You taste.
00:05FX presents a new game show where the name of the game
00:09is figuring out which one of these things
00:11is not like the other.
00:12No Relation takes five members of a closely knit family
00:15and replaces one of them with a fake.
00:17Join our guest celebrities.
00:19Why does a cinnamon Tic Tac remind you of your nose?
00:22Because I stuck one up my nose.
00:24And discover some family secrets.
00:26I used to strip for the talent show.
00:28As we uncover the family fake.
00:30No Relation.
00:32It's always fun.
00:33Tonight at 8.
00:34Only on FX.
00:38Stick around for No Relation.
00:40Followed by Lost and Found.
00:42Only on FX.
00:47These five people all claim to be members of the Womack family.
00:50But one of them is not telling the truth.
00:53It's the game that asks you to decide
00:55which member of a close knit clan
00:57is actually a relative stranger.
00:59No Relation.
01:01And now here's the host of our show,
01:04Mike Rowe.
01:11Hello there.
01:12Thank you so much, Jennifer.
01:13My name is Mike.
01:14This, in fact, is No Relation.
01:15And today we have an opportunity to try and figure out
01:17which member of the Womack family is an imposter.
01:20Now, before the program,
01:21the Womack spent some time with a complete and total stranger.
01:24Told that person everything they could think of
01:26about their family and about themselves.
01:28And now that imposter has assumed the identity
01:31of the real fifth family member
01:33who is watching the program backstage.
01:35That being said,
01:36let's give the Womacks a chance to introduce themselves,
01:39starting with Kay.
01:40Hi, I'm Kay.
01:41And I'm a retired school teacher.
01:43And I am the head of this family.
01:46I see.
01:47Daryl.
01:48Hi, my name's Daryl.
01:49And I'm Kay's son.
01:50And I'm a high school English teacher and PE teacher.
01:53Hi, I'm Patty.
01:54I'm Kay's daughter-in-law.
01:55And I'm a pharmacist.
01:56Great.
01:57Hi, I'm Liz.
01:58And I'm a high school Spanish teacher.
02:00And I am Kay's daughter.
02:01Great.
02:02Hi, I'm Andy.
02:03And I'm a high school math teacher and baseball coach.
02:05Great.
02:06I'm Kay's son-in-law.
02:07The Womacks, everyone.
02:12Well, they sure seem honest.
02:13But one of them is telling tales.
02:15And it'll be up to our celebrities
02:16to try and figure out which one of those things
02:18is not like the other, as it were.
02:20And we have a great panel with us today,
02:21starting with the young and restless's very own Joshua Morrow.
02:25Say hi to Josh, please.
02:31How's it going, Josh?
02:32It's going great, man.
02:33Do you prefer Josh or Joshua?
02:35I actually prefer Joshua.
02:36I knew that.
02:37I don't like to be called Josh, so if you call me Josh,
02:39I'm leaving the show.
02:40Okay, that's right.
02:41All right, thank you, Josh.
02:42Joshua, everyone.
02:43And from Baywatch, the brand-new captain of the guard,
02:46this is Nancy Vallon.
02:47Hi, Nancy.
02:52You got the bathing suit on under there, don't you?
02:54Oh, yeah.
02:55Okay, because you can't be too careful these days.
02:57It's very nice to have you here.
02:58Thanks.
02:59And from the Drew Carey Show and from Home Improvement,
03:02please say hi to Blake Clark.
03:05I prefer to be called Elaine.
03:08Elaine.
03:09And no doubt you have a similar bathing suit
03:12on under the flannel that day.
03:13Yes, I do.
03:14Yes, I do.
03:15It's a thong.
03:16Oh, jeez.
03:17It's a visual, folks.
03:19It's a visual.
03:20You don't want to go there.
03:21We don't have a lot of rules in this game,
03:23as you might have ascertained already.
03:24But, celebrities, I will ask you to ask questions
03:26based on the information we've provided in those biographies.
03:28Go off on a tangent if you would like.
03:30Please don't ask questions about any personal numbers, okay?
03:33No phone numbers, social security numbers, things like that.
03:36Well, Max, all you guys have to do is answer their questions
03:38as truthfully as you can, okay?
03:40It was determined before the show that Andy would start things off.
03:42So, Andy, if you'll come and sit where Kay is,
03:44I'll ask the rest of you to stand up
03:46and head off through the yellow door to the soundproof booth.
03:48And while you do that, I'll remind everybody at home
03:50that no relation is played in two rounds.
03:52Round one, our celebrities each have 30 questions,
03:5430 seconds, or questions if they want,
03:56to individually question each family member.
03:58In round two, I can't talk much faster,
04:00but we'll bring back the whole family
04:01and interrogate them en masse.
04:03Everybody with me?
04:04Mm-hmm.
04:05Excellent. Andy, are you ready?
04:06I'm ready.
04:07All right, get comfortable.
04:08Joshua Morrow starts things off.
04:09Tell me about the night you first met Liz, your wife,
04:11at a football game.
04:12A friend of mine, we were going to see our school play a game,
04:17and we were a little bit late.
04:19Looking for a buddy of mine,
04:21and Liz happened to be a security guard there,
04:23and she kind of said,
04:24oh, I heard, I know that guy.
04:26And so she told us where he was,
04:28and the big play had just happened.
04:29I said, hey, what happened?
04:30And she went into great detail and told me all about it.
04:33And a woman to know that much about football,
04:35I was kind of interested, so.
04:36Security guard, did she frisk you?
04:37No, not that time.
04:38No, no, okay.
04:39Just had to check that.
04:40Go ahead, Nancy.
04:42Okay, you are a coach.
04:43How do you feel about female reporters
04:45in a locker room after the game?
04:47Women should be allowed to do any job a man does.
04:51I think the players are the ones that are the problem,
04:54and they don't respect the women as much as they should,
04:57but they should be able to go wherever the men do.
05:00Why did you make a career change
05:01from being an engineer to a teacher?
05:03I love baseball.
05:04I've played it my whole life,
05:05and I wanted to help kids.
05:07And do you feel it's important for your students
05:10to not only see you as an academic teacher,
05:12but also as a coach?
05:13Hmm, I wonder.
05:15Yeah, that's a good question.
05:17Yeah.
05:18Especially, yeah, being a math teacher,
05:20most coaches are PE teachers.
05:22Nothing wrong with that,
05:23but it's nice to see both sides.
05:24You have a son,
05:25and his middle name has a significance.
05:27What is that?
05:28That's where my wife and I met, Davis.
05:30Ah, that's cute.
05:32So, what do you call him?
05:33Ryan.
05:34Ryan.
05:35Because you don't want to be reminded
05:37of where you met your wife.
05:39So, you describe yourself
05:40as having a great sense of tradition.
05:42What are your favorite traditions and why?
05:44My favorite traditions?
05:45Probably, like, World Series.
05:47Boys, American is apple pie.
05:49Isn't he trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly,
05:51courteous, kind, obedient?
05:52Is he too good to be true?
05:53We'll find out.
05:54They're one down and four more Womacs to go.
05:56Round one continues after this.
05:58♪♪♪
06:07And welcome back, everybody.
06:08If you're just joining us, this is No Relation.
06:10I'm Mike.
06:11The Womacs are being questioned
06:12by our celebrity panel.
06:13We're right in the middle of round one.
06:15We have heard from Andy.
06:16Daryl.
06:17We begin this time with Nancy Vallon.
06:20What did you end up pursuing
06:22and who influenced this decision?
06:24I took up high school teaching
06:26and football coaching.
06:28My father was a football coach
06:29for about 35 years,
06:31and I've kind of followed in his footsteps.
06:33And what do your kids tell you
06:35to try to get out of phys ed?
06:37Well, actually, I teach English primarily,
06:39but I also teach physical education,
06:41but it's my football class,
06:42so they really don't try to get out of it.
06:44Oh.
06:45In college, you thought you might want to be a DJ.
06:49Uh-huh.
06:50What made you change your mind?
06:51Um, I worked...
06:52What type of offense do you run?
06:54We run an I-type offense
06:56with sort of multiple set.
06:57And defense?
06:58Defense, 50.
07:00My dad was a football coach, too.
07:02All right.
07:03Surprise, surprise.
07:04When you were in college,
07:05why did your trip to Mexico
07:07cause an uproar in your family?
07:08Well, a couple buddies and I
07:10used to take a trip every year
07:12because my two best friends from high school,
07:14they had the same birthday,
07:15so we went to Mexico one year,
07:17um, unbeknownst to the rest of the families,
07:20and we ended up spending the night
07:22and carrying on for a day or so
07:24and made it back,
07:25but some people started getting worried.
07:27Okay, Joshua.
07:28You were absent-minded in high school.
07:30What was the reason for constantly
07:31forgetting your English book in class?
07:33Well, my wife and I met actually in 10th grade.
07:36We didn't start dating until much later,
07:37but she sat behind me in English,
07:39and every time I'd forget my English book,
07:40the teacher would make me turn around
07:41and share it with her,
07:42so I thought she was kind of cute,
07:44so I'd, uh...
07:45Tell me about your traditional set of cards,
07:47your untraditional, very.
07:49My what?
07:50Your untraditional set of trading cards.
07:52My untraditional set of trading cards?
07:55I don't have one.
07:57Okay.
07:58That is untraditional.
08:00That's a dog-bond unorthodox.
08:01Darrell, thanks.
08:02You can slip right on through the blue door there.
08:03I think Liz will be coming in next.
08:05Twice it's happened to me.
08:08It's a tough room, Josh.
08:10Come on in, Liz.
08:11How are you?
08:12Fine, thanks.
08:13Great.
08:14Please be comfortable.
08:15Have a seat.
08:16And, uh...
08:17As Blake gets himself prepared here.
08:20You just tell me when you're ready, Blake.
08:22We'll just run on your schedule here for a while.
08:24That's okay.
08:25That's okay.
08:26I don't have a Liz.
08:27You don't have a Liz?
08:28I don't have a Liz.
08:29I'm sorry.
08:30You don't need a Liz.
08:31You're that good.
08:33Huh.
08:34Here's a Liz.
08:35Why don't you take her Liz's?
08:36Okay.
08:37We just make it up as we go, folks.
08:38It's not a science.
08:39Okay.
08:40Como esta?
08:41Muy bien.
08:42You should know that.
08:45So, let's see.
08:47You used to teach with your brother, Darrell.
08:49Uh-huh.
08:50And you got the brother, Darrell.
08:52Tell me about the time your students thought you were married to him.
08:56Well, um...
08:58One day I had a student come up to me and said...
09:00You know, granted, you have to understand these are junior high students.
09:04And he walked up to me and said, I know about you.
09:07And I said, what?
09:08And he's like, you're going to have a baby.
09:10And I said, no, I'm not.
09:12Huh.
09:13Okay.
09:14Joshua.
09:15The first time you met your husband, Andy, you wowed him with your football knowledge.
09:18Tell me about that.
09:20I was working as a security guard at a football game at school.
09:24And he had just shown up to the game and a big play had just happened.
09:28And I explained to him what had just happened, and he was pretty impressed.
09:31You gave him a little play-by-play.
09:32A little play-by-play.
09:33Nice.
09:34Did you do it in the Howard Cosell voice?
09:35Yeah.
09:37When your husband proposed to you, you were parked on the Golden Gate Bridge and it was pouring rain.
09:40What did he say to you?
09:42That's a good question.
09:43He said, um...
09:45Sorry.
09:46Nancy, if you have any questions left, go ahead.
09:48What is your favorite class?
09:50Is there a specific hour that you like that the kids are the best in?
09:53Like a different period?
09:54Yeah.
09:55Of the day?
09:56Is there one where the kids are just lousy?
09:57Yeah.
09:58Which hour is that?
09:59Well, in general it tends to be sixth period.
10:00Okay.
10:01So you're supposedly a good negotiator.
10:02What's the best deal you ever struck?
10:04A good negotiator?
10:05Yeah.
10:06Um...
10:08For, uh...
10:11Next question.
10:12No.
10:13Okay.
10:14You and your husband, Andy, are both at school.
10:16Right.
10:17And are you ever affectionate to each other?
10:18No.
10:19No.
10:20Oh, she got it in past the bell.
10:21Thanks, Liz.
10:22You can slip right on through here.
10:23And we have Patty coming in, number four.
10:26And you got Patty's questions.
10:28Hi, Patty.
10:29Hi.
10:30Joshua Morrow starts next.
10:33Hi.
10:34Hi.
10:35You first knew Daryl in high school.
10:36You thought you weren't cool enough for him.
10:38Why is that?
10:39Oh, because he was a football player and I was just, um,
10:43you know, your typical high school shy, kind of smart girl.
10:47And, you know, he was just too cool for me.
10:49Typical shy high school girl.
10:51Right on.
10:52Here while in college you went to Humboldt to see Daryl play football.
10:56What happened on the drive back?
10:57Well, we had only been dating about a month,
11:00and his parents came up and we drove back.
11:04Me and his parents drove all the way back from Humboldt, 12 hours.
11:07Do you want to answer?
11:09Where did you first meet Daryl?
11:12In high school.
11:13And that would be at lunch or in class?
11:16We had English class together.
11:18Oh, okay.
11:19And why does it bother you that mushrooms are always in food at family functions?
11:24Because I'm allergic to mushrooms.
11:26They make me very sick.
11:28It just seems like they're always in everything wherever we go.
11:31So what happened New Year's Eve?
11:32You have a bad temper, huh?
11:36We were sitting New Year's Eve.
11:37We got a crank phone call.
11:41And it was a mushroom salesman.
11:44Exactly.
11:45You know, maybe they're trying to tell you something.
11:50So why are you considered the practical one in the family
11:53other than you're allergic to mushrooms?
11:55I'm just the one who, you know, when we go somewhere,
11:58I'll make sure everything's packed and make sure we have...
12:00What is the most common prescription you fill at the pharmacy?
12:04Probably painkillers.
12:06And what's the most unusual one?
12:08The most unusual?
12:10The most unusual prescription you've ever filled.
12:14Meat tenderizer.
12:15What?
12:17Meat tenderizer or the mushroom anti-toxin, no doubt.
12:19Go ahead, Patty.
12:20Straight through that door.
12:21Our last family member is going to be Kay.
12:23And there is Kay right now.
12:26Guys, Kay Womack will be the last one we have in Round 1.
12:30Hello, Kay.
12:31Hi.
12:32How are you?
12:33Fine, thanks.
12:34That's good.
12:35Everything okay back there in the soundproof booth?
12:36Fine.
12:37It's pretty fancy, isn't it?
12:39Okay, Nancy, we start with you.
12:41Okay, Kay.
12:42Oh, no.
12:43Where's Kay?
12:44Okay, here's Kay.
12:45Why do you refer to your husband as a CIO?
12:50I call him a California Improved Okie.
12:57Yeah.
12:59I'm an Okie, too.
13:00Yeah, he's from Oklahoma.
13:01Nice.
13:02What grade and classes did you teach when you were a teacher?
13:06Kindergarten and second grade.
13:08And some of your children often say,
13:11Why?
13:15Because I'm real sentimental with my kids.
13:18Blake.
13:19Okay, so what is the Womack connection with the Redlands school system?
13:24We've all taught there.
13:27Even the pharmacist lady?
13:30No, she doesn't teach there.
13:32So then you all have not taught there.
13:34The kids, the kids.
13:36Geez, Blake, go easy.
13:38You all have not taught there.
13:42What is the last minute change in Liz's wedding plans
13:48that put your organizational skills to the end of a question?
13:52We do not know.
13:54Joshua.
13:55Your grandchildren have a nickname for you.
13:56What is it and why do they call you that?
13:58Meemaw.
13:59Meatball.
14:00Meemaw.
14:01Oh, Meemaw.
14:02Meatball.
14:03Meemaw.
14:05I was like, ma'am, you got a tough family.
14:10Who told...
14:12So, Meatball, who told you that your family owned the Phillips Ranch area of Pomona?
14:18Why?
14:24Just can't get past the meatball thing, can you, Joshua?
14:26All right, then.
14:27We're gonna end on a food byproduct in round one anyway.
14:30When we return, Meemaw and the entire family will be back on the sofa
14:34and we'll find out how much the Womacks know about each other.
14:36Don't go away.
14:44Nancy and I are just trading some notes backstage here.
14:47This is a family almost too good to be true, don't you think?
14:50Almost too good to be true, but I think that Liz is the imposter.
14:53Oh, really?
14:54Yeah.
14:55Why do you think that?
14:56Everyone else just seems to be really into sports and their teaching
14:59and she doesn't... her eyes don't light up when she talks about anything.
15:02It's not happening with the eyes for you, is it?
15:03Yeah.
15:04It's not normal that, like, everyone in the family loves their job so much
15:06and they all really do, but...
15:07There's nothing normal about any of this.
15:09Let's see what happens in round two.
15:10Okay.
15:18A little bit different here in round two, everybody.
15:20All of the Womacks are back on the couch
15:21and our celebrities in this round each have 45 seconds to ask them questions
15:25not about themselves, but about each other.
15:28A little more interesting here.
15:29Watch what happens, though.
15:30Be very careful, celebrity.
15:31This gets a little tricky.
15:32Joshua, we begin with you.
15:34Patty, what do Kay's grandchildren call her?
15:37Meemaw.
15:38Meemaw. Are you sure?
15:39I'm sure.
15:40Liz, who's a pharmacist?
15:41Patty.
15:42Patty.
15:43Daryl, where did Andy and Liz meet?
15:45At school at a football game, UC Davis.
15:49Liz, who as a teenager caused an uproar by going to Mexico?
15:53Daryl.
15:55And Andy, who's allergic to mushrooms?
15:58Patty.
15:59Patty.
16:01Daryl, who has the middle name Dream?
16:03Dream.
16:04Liz.
16:05Liz.
16:06And Andy, who got engaged in a skating rink parking lot?
16:09Daryl and Patty.
16:12Wow, it's like you guys are related or something.
16:14Yeah.
16:15It's tricky.
16:17Patty, who's the most sentimental in the family?
16:19That would be Mom.
16:21Meemaw.
16:22Go ahead.
16:24Liz, Andy says that you know a lot about football.
16:27Are there two different leagues in football, and what are the names of the leagues?
16:31The American Football League and the National Football League.
16:34Kay, which husband and wife teach at the same school?
