Before the Trump-Harris debate, Abdul Ghani Baradar was the leader and co-founder of the Taliban. After Trump mentioned him during the debate, MSNBC's Joy Reid and Nicole Wallace now claim he isn't real. These are the same people pushing to censor "misinformation and disinformation."

From Wikipedia - Abdul Ghani Baradarlal (born 29 September
1963 or c. 1968; known by the honorific mullah) is an Afghan militant and religious leader who is the acting first deputy prime minister, alongside Abdul Salam Hanafi, of the internationally unrecognized post-2021 Taliban regime in Afghanistan. A co-founder of the Taliban along with Mullah Omar, he was Omar's top deputy from 2002 to 2010, and since 2019 he has been the Taliban's fourth-in-command, as the third of Leader Hibatullah Akhundzada's three deputies.

00:00This is the part where Donald Trump invented someone.
00:03He invented a person who doesn't exist,
00:05in addition to the people he says are eating dogs.
00:07There's another person who doesn't exist.
00:08His name is Abdul.
00:11And Abdul is the head of the Taliban.
00:14He is still the head of the Taliban.
00:16And I told Abdul, don't do it anymore.
00:18You do it anymore.
00:19You're going to have problems.
00:20Maybe the reason that VP Harris is looking at him that way
00:23is one that she's probably thinking,
00:25maybe he should go back to the old folks home
00:27and have a bowl of jello.
00:29Or she might also be thinking to herself,
00:30no, no, no.
00:31The head of the Taliban's name is not Abdul.
00:34It is Hibatullah Akhundzada, Akhundzada.
00:37So maybe he couldn't remember that.
00:39You know, I had to write it down to know it.
00:40Your thoughts on his response in making up Abdul
00:43as a person that isn't real.
00:45No one can really confirm who this Taliban person
00:48named Abdul is, who he said he'd talked to.
00:51It's the bizarrest bit in the whole debate,
00:53where he describes the leader of the Taliban
00:55as the guy called Abdul.
00:57I mean, it's, you know, it's a completely non-existent person.
01:02He's just chosen the one Muslim name he can remember.
01:05It's like, I don't know, the leader of the Taliban saying,
01:08that guy, John, who leads the West, or is it Billy?
01:14That's the kind of sort of wacky direction
01:17she sent his head in because she had prepared so well.
01:21The man who now leads the Taliban in Afghanistan,
01:24Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.
01:26Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, co-founder of the Taliban.
01:30I could hear in Mullah Baradar's voice
01:33that he knew President Trump meant business.
01:36CBS News has confirmed that CIA director,
01:38William Burns met secretly in Kabul
01:41with the Taliban's de facto leader, Abdul Ghani Baradar.
01:44We have learned that CIA director, William Burns,
01:47traveled to Kabul for a secret meeting
01:49with Taliban leader, Abdul Ghani Baradar.
01:51A Taliban co-founder, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar,
01:55who oversaw the signing
01:57of the U.S. Withdrawal Agreement last year.
