NHS News: Junior doctors accept new pay deal and 230,000 clinical negligence cases reported in NHS in 2023

Junior doctors in England have voted to accept a new pay deal from the government. This means that a doctor starting NHS foundation training will now be on a wage of £36,600 a year. As the National Health Service is set to face upcoming winter pressure, earlier this month, PM Sir Keir Starmer promised to draw up a new 10-year plan for the health service, as he said there will be no extra NHS funding without reform.
