00:06The rock band cancelled the tour to singer Perrie Fowle's inexcusable behavior.

00:11Perrie Fowle, the frontman of Jane's Addiction, shared an apology for his behavior at a recent

00:17concert that led to an on-stage fight and the tour's cancellation.

00:22This weekend has been incredibly difficult, and after having the time and space to reflect,

00:28it is only right that I apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, fans, family and

00:35friends for my actions during Friday's show, Fowle said in a statement shared with Variety.

00:42Unfortunately, my breaking point resulted in inexcusable behavior, and I take full accountability

00:49for how I chose to handle the situation.

00:52The singer didn't share any other details about the situation or his plans for the future.

00:58Fowle's apology comes after he attempted to punch Navarro, the band's guitarist, at a concert in Boston,

01:06Mass., leading others to approach Fowle and take him off the stage.

01:10On September 16, a couple of days after the concert, Jane's Addiction shared a message

01:17on social media to fans saying, the band have made the difficult decision to take some time

01:23away as a group.

01:24As such, they will be cancelling the remainder of the tour.

01:28Navarro and the other band members, Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins, shared a more detailed

01:34message on their personal accounts about the decision with a joint post, telling fans,

01:41Due to a continuing pattern of behavior and the mental health difficulties of our singer

01:46Perry Farrell, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to discontinue

01:52the current US tour.

01:54Our concern for his personal health and safety, as well as our own, has left us no alternative.

02:01We hope that he will find the help he needs," the note continued.

02:05The group had quite a few shows scheduled for the rest of the tour, and it was the first

02:10time the Addiction toured with the original members in over a decade.
